Fox: The network has announced that Chris Speilman is joining the network as a college football and NFL analyst.

NFL: The NFL is set to name former Pro Bowl offensive lineman and U.S. congressman Jon Runyan as vice president of policy and rules administration, according to the Washington Post. Runyan will oversee discipline for on-field hits and inspection programs for uniforms and protective equipment.

Jackson State: Former head coach Bob Hill passed away this morning, the school has announced. Please keep his family in your thoughts and prayers.

Southwest Minnesota State (D-II): Southwest Minnesota State University is looking for a wide receivers graduate assistant coach in a fast-tempo / no-huddle offense. Qualifications include acceptance into graduate school (3.0 minimum GPA), enrolled in a minimum of six credits per semester, and meet the MnSCU vehicle driving qualifications. UConn: As part of the two-year extension with Bob Diaco that the school announced yesterday, taking him through the 2020 season, Diaco will make $2 million for the 2019 season and $2.1 million for the 2020 season. In addition, the three years that remain on Diaco's original contract have been adjusted to reflect raises of $100,000. $150,000 and $200,000 on top of his $1.55 million base salary he earned in 2015.

Kansas State: Former Minnesota head coach Jerry Kill is joining the Kansas State staff as associate AD for administration, the school has announced.


Bowling Green: Bob Moosbrugger, the deputy athletic director at San Diego State, has been named AD at BGSU. Moosbrugger has been deputy AD at SDSU since last June and has been with the school since 2000.

UC Davis: Stanford senior associate athletic director for external relations Kevin Blue has been hired to be the new athletic director at UC Davis.
