Washington: Jennifer Cohen, who had been serving as interim AD following the departure of Scott Woodward to Texas A&M, has been promoted to athletic director. The move becomes effective June 1st. Prior to becoming interim AD, Cohen was the senior associate athletic director for the Huskies. The University spent wasted $105,000 on a search firm to assist with this search.

Manchester (D-III - IN): Manchester University is looking to hire a full-time assistant coach to work on the offensive side of the ball. The assistant will coach a position, monitor student-athlete eligibility, recruit an assigned area, and also serve as the strength and conditioning coach for the football program. Pittsburgh Steelers: Virginia Union (D-II) co-defensive coordinator / secondary coach Jesse Thompson has been selected to participate in the Bill Walsh Minority Fellowship program with the Steelers, per source.

Baylor: In light of the recent events out of Waco,Baylor regents will remove sixth-year university president Ken Starr by the end of the month, according to a report from Chip Brown.

Morehead State (FCS - KY): Morehead State University is seeking multiple unpaid intern positions. These positions are available to those aspiring to get into the coaching profession. We are looking for offense, defense, special teams and operations interns. These positions include no housing, meals, or stipend. You will gain experience and knowledge in working within a Division I FCS football program. The person in these positions will be responsible for assisting a coordinator and position coach with different aspects of coaching. They will also assist the Recruiting Coordinator with on campus recruiting events, and other duties as assigned by the Head Coach. Playing experience, along with video editing is preferred but not required. Strong communication and computer skills are required. Applicants will be required to successfully complete an interview. Dakota College (JC - ND): Dakota College at Bottineau is looking for Resident Assistant Football Coaches to begin August 1, 2016. More than one position available. 10 month contract, small stipend plus room and board in exchange for coaching and duties/responsibilities in residence life. Duties will entail coaching a position (OL preferred for one of available positions), recruiting, strength and conditioning, and serving in residence halls as a Resident Assistant. Tampa Bay Bucs: Per source, UNC defensive quality control assistant / assistant linebackers coach Tony Gilbert has been selected to participate in the Bill Walsh Minority Fellowship for the Bucs. Gilbert is a seven-year veteran of the NFL.
