Scott Satterfield: After a report surfaced that Satterfield had an interview set up for the South Carolina opening, he has reportedly shared that it's not a job he's interested in and intends to remain the head coach at Louisville.

Jackson State (FCS - MS): Why Phil Mickelson is donating half a million bucks to Deion and company.

Jacksonville Jaguars: The entire defensive coaching staff is out of the facility today, due to COVID protocols following a positive test, per multiple reports.

Hastings College (NAIA - NE): Head coach Tony Harper will not return after leading the team for 10 years.

New Mexico Bowl: The New Mexico Bowl will be played in Frisco, Texas this year. This will be the second bowl game in the north Dallas suburb and the fifth in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. It will be played on Christmas Eve.

NCFAA: The Home Depot College Football Awards show, which usually airs the Thursday night before the Heisman ceremony in the second week of December, will take place virtually on Jan. 7. ESPN will televise.

Championship Games: The following times have been set for conference championship games -- C-USA (Dec. 18, 7 p.m. ET, CBS Sports Network), MAC (Dec. 18, 7 p.m. ET, ESPN), Big 12 (Dec. 19, noon ET, ABC), Sun Belt (Dec. 19, 12:30 p.m. ET, ESPN/2), ACC (Dec. 19, 4 p.m. ET, ABC), American (Dec. 19, 8 p.m. ET, ABC), Big Ten (Dec. 19, 8 p.m. ET, Fox), SEC (Dec. 19, 8 p.m. ET, CBS).

Dallas Cowboys: Strength and conditioning coordinator Markus Paul was the Cowboys staffer involved in the "medical emergency" this morning, the organization shares. Paul is currently undergoing medical tests and additional information will be provided later. Please join us in continuing to pray for coach Paul.

Briar Cliff (NAIA - IA): The program has relieved head coach Dennis Wagner, his coordinators, and an assistant coach, of their duties.

Baltimore Ravens: The organization has had five players and four staff members test positive for COVID this week, Adam Schefter tweets. Schefter adds that their game for Thursday against Pittsburgh is still on, but further positive tests could mean postponing the game.

Dabo Swinney:Dabo doubles down on the ongoing spat with Florida State with his comments today.

College of DuPage (JC - IL): Head coach Matt Foster has announced his retirement, effective in February. Matthew Rahn, who played for the program and has spent the past seven seasons as an assistant coach, has been named acting head coach.

Maryville (D-III - TN): Head coach Shawn Hayes has stepped down from his post after a few seasons at the helm. Read more on the situation here.

Dallas Cowboys: The team has cancelled practice today due to a emergency medical situation involving a staff member that is not COVID related, Michael Gehlken tweets.

Jackson State (FCS – MS): Checking in on Coach Prime’s staff two months after his hire date.

UT-Permian Basin (D-II): The University of Texas Permian Basin has an open position and is looking for a defensive assistant. This is a restricted earnings/part-time position with potential housing provided. The candidate will be responsible for coaching a position, film-breakdown, scouting reports, off campus recruiting, and other duties as assigned by the Head Coach. Bachelor’s degree required. Hudl proficiency is preferred. Prior coaching or playing experience preferred. Interested applicants should a resume and references to Co-Defensive Coordinator Jacob Martin at martin_j@utpb.edu.

Masters of Sports Administration: Upper Iowa’s MSA degree provides learners with the current theories, concepts, and learning models necessary to assume administrative, coaching and leadership roles in high school, higher education and sports business settings. The online degree is available with emphasis in Sports Management or Coaching & Leadership Education.
