Moked July Results

Mountain West: The Mountain West has approved an 8-game schedule plus two non-conference games, beginning the weekend of Sept. 26. The conference championship will be held Dec. 5, 12 or 19, as has become standard across FBS.

Kliff Kingsbury: There's some good news, and disappointing news behind perhaps the most iconic picture of the 2020 virtual NFL Draft featuring Kliff Kingsbury.

College Football Playoff: The College Football Playoff will not announce their final rankings until Dec. 20. The rankings had previously been revealed on or around Dec. 8. The Rose Bowl and Sugar Bowl semifinal games will take place Jan. 1 and the national title game is scheduled take place in Miami on Jan. 11.

Kent State: Former Lake Erie (D-II - OH) defensive line coach Ashton Scott has accepted a graduate assistant position with the Golden Flashes, per source.

Lake Erie (D-II - OH): Lake Erie College is seeking a Graduate Assistant to start immediately. The position pays a stipend and comes with a full tuition waiver. West Texas A&M (D-II): West Texas A&M is seeking applicants for an immediate Offensive Assistant position, WR. This is a great opportunity for a young coach looking to gain on the field and recruiting experience. Prior coaching experience at WR is required. This position is full-time with benefits. American: As Power 5 leagues go with (mostly) conference-only schedules, the American is moving forward with its original schedule.

D-III: NCAA Division III championships for Fall sports have been cancelled.

Lake Erie (D-II - OH): Per source, Conor Reilly has been hired as defensive line coach. Reilly previously served as the defensive line coach at Walsh.

Kilgore (JC - TX): Former TCU defensive quality control coach and graduate assistant Jason Teague has joined the program as defensive coordinator, per source.

NCAA: A decision on fall championships will be made "no later than August 21st" the NCAA announced today.

Juniata (D-III - PA): Per source, former Colts Bill Walsh Diversity Intern and former Village Christian Academy (NC) head coach Emerson Martin has been hired as offensive coordinator / offensive line coach.

Judson (NAIA - IL): Judson University is seeking applicants for a Graduate Assistant. No preference on Offense or Defense, looking for the best possible candidate. Candidates must demonstrate exceptional knowledge of strategy, successful recruiting ability, and strong leadership. Photoshop expertise preferred. Mountain West: Brett McMurphy tweets that the Mountain West is expected to finalize an 8-game conference and 2-game non conference schedule today.

American Athletic Conference: Later today, the league is expected to announce an 8-game conference schedule and the ability for teams to schedule as many as four non-conference games, according to multiple reports. The Sun Belt revealed a very similar plan recently.

Turner Gill: Former Buffalo, Kansas and Liberty head coach Turner Gill has accepted an executive vice president role at Liberty. Gill had previously spent time on Chad Morris' Arkansas staff as executive director for student-athlete and staff development after retiring from coaching after the 2018 season.

Maryland: The Terps are preparing to begin the season with no fans in attendance, under guidance from the local health department and will not have season tickets for the 2020 season.

Colorado State: An update on the significant allegations levied against Steve Addazio's staff yesterday.

Big Ten: The Big Ten has released their full conference schedule.

UConn: UConn is cancelling their 2020 football season.

NCAA: The NCAA did not take action on fall championships at its Board of Governors meeting today. That means we’ll have to rinse and repeat this piece for the next Board meeting.
