Colorado: Steve Sarkisian reportedly interviewed today and is a candidate along with Troy Calhoun and Bret Bielema. Look for a hire very soon....

San Jose State: Source tells FootballScoop San Jose State offensive line coach Joe Bernardi has stepped down. We hear he is moving into a profession outside of the game.

Michigan State: Flint Beecher HS (MI) head coach and athletic director Courtney Hawkins will join Mel Tucker's staff as receivers coach. Hawkins, 50, played 9 seasons in the NFL after playing at Michigan State.

Scholarships: One FBS program offered nearly 600 scholarships to 2020 class, while on the other end of the spectrum four programs selectively offered less than 100.

Arizona State: Adam Breneman, a former tight end at UMass and Penn State, will be joining the staff as a grad assistant on the offensive side of the ball, Bruce Feldman tweets.

Purdue: Neil Callaway has been added to the staff as a senior analyst. Callaway previously coached at UAB, and also served as offensive coordinator at Georgia, Alabama and Houston and most recently served as USC's offensive line coach.

William & Mary (FCS - VA): After losing his offensive coordinator to Hawai'i, Mike London has plucked away the OC from one of FCS's top programs.

Northern Arizona (FCS): Northern Arizona Football is looking for a quarterbacks / wide receivers graduate assistant coach. Class fees in graduate and a monthly GA stipend are included with the position. Interested individuals please send an email and resume to noah.sutherland@nau.edu. Oberlin (D-III - OH): The Oberlin College Department of Athletics and Physical Education invites applications for the position of Assistant Coach of Football /Defensive Assistant. This is a full-time, continuing, 12-month Administrative and Professional Staff position that could take on coordinating responsibilities within the football program. The position will report to the Head Coach of Football and work with the Director of Athletics and Physical Education. The incumbent will also have secondary administrative and physical education responsibilities within the department that could include teaching, game management, or recreation supervision, etc. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required, a master’s degree is preferred. Ability to recruit and develop student- athletes at a high academic institution. 1-2 years coaching and/or relevant competitive experience; collegiate playing experience preferred. Boston College: Boston College is expected to add Rob Chudzinski, the former head coach of the Cleveland Browns, in an off-field role, Pete Thamel tweets. Chudzinski also brings extensive experience as a college and NFL offensive coordinator with stops with the Colts, Panthers, and Browns and in college at Miami.

Youngstown State: According to Dana Balash of WFMJ TV out of Youngstown. SU Football Coach Doug Phillips expected to add assistant coaches Kenny McClendon from Valdosta State (D-II - GA) and Kory Allen from Findlay (D-II - OH).

Western Michigan: Per source, Princeton (FCS - NJ) co-defensive coordinator / defensive backs coach Marvin Clecidor will be the new corners coach at Western Michigan.

College of Idaho (NAIA): The College of Idaho is seeking applicants for a defensive assistant coach working with LBs or DBs. This is a restricted earnings position that will range from $12,000 to $19,000 based on experience. NO housing or meals are available. Kenyon (D-II - OH): Source tells FootballScoop that Kenyon College (D-II - OH) defensive backs coach / video coordinator David Angell has accepted the head coaching job at Boca Raton HS (FL).

College of Idaho (NAIA): The College of Idaho is seeking applicants for a defensive stipend position working with CBs or LBs. Pay is 5K - 8K. NO Campus housing or meals are available. Rice: Per source, Kenyon College (D-II - OH) offensive line coach / recruiting coordinator Dylan Berardelli has accepted an offensive graduate assistant job at Rice.

South Dakota State (FCS): South Dakota State University is looking to hire a Director of Media Production. This is a 10-month stipend position with no benefits, housing or meals, with the opportunity to earn additional income through summer camps. Preferred candidates will have prior experience with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premier, and other video/picture editing software. This person will be responsible for running all social media platforms, producing all creative media (graphics, highlights, hype videos) as well as any other duties assigned by the Head Coach and Recruiting Coordinator. Howard (FCS - DC): Source tells FootballScoop that Larry Scott has completed his staff with the additions of Warren Belin (LBs), DaVaun Johnson (RBs), Lindsay Lamar (WRs), Randall Jett (offensive quality control), and Kevin LaSalle (DFO).

Highest-Paid Coaches: We've revived our series looking at college football's highest-paid assistant coaches. After leading off with receivers yesterday, we look at the D-line today.

Southern Illinois (FCS): Chase Dutra has been hired as a defensive GA. He was previously at Rutgers.

Tulsa: Brody Trahan has joined the staff as a special teams/recruiting quality control. Trahan previously coached the linebackers at McNeese State (FCS - LA).

Cleveland Browns: The Browns have hired Ben Bloom (senior defensive assistant), Stephen Bravo-Brown (defensive quality control), Ryan Cordell (coaching assistant), Jeremy Garrett (assistant defensive line), Brandon Lynch (assistant defensive backs) and Seitu Smith (offensive quality control).

TCU: Kenny Hill has been promoted from GA to offensive analyst. Former Frog safety Eric Buchanan has joined the staff as a defensive analyst.

Vanderbilt: Source tells FootballScoop Tony Ball remains a candidate for the open receivers position at Vanderbilt. Ball spent last season at UTSA and coached the two seasons prior to that at Louisiana Tech with new Vandy OC Todd Fitch. Ball coached one season at LSU and had significant stints at Georgia and Virginia Tech as well.

Mary (D-II - ND): The University of Mary, located in Bismarck, North Dakota, has an immediate opening for a full-time defensive backs coach. Position will be a Co-Defensive Coordinator / Defensive Backs Coach depending on experience. A bachelor’s degree is required, and a master’s degree is preferred. Must be able to pass the background check. Coach will be responsible for coaching defensive secondary with a graduate assistant helping them, recruiting the Twin Cities of Minnesota, assisting with game planning, if experience is there, will have play calling duties on game day, and other duties assigned by head coach. Pay will be determined if candidate is assigned Defensive Backs job or Co-Defensive Coordinator job. This is a full-time position, so benefits are included. Minorities are encouraged to apply. Spring football begins March 10th so review of applicants will begin immediately. Minot State (D-II - ND): Minot State University is seeking an offensive graduate assistant coach, working with the Tight Ends / H-Backs. The successful candidate will coach his own position, run positional meetings, assist with special teams, contribute to the weekly game plan and have his own recruiting area. Must be hard working, passionate, extremely motivated and accepted into graduate school (3.0 minimum GPA). Compensation package includes a $5,000 stipend, camp bonus and tuition waiver. Berry (D-III - GA): Defensive line coach Zack Smith has been promoted to defensive coordinator. He takes over for Nate Masters, who left to become the defensive coordinator at West Georgia (D-II).

Nevada: Nevada football has an opening in their Graphic Design Coordinator role. They are looking for people with football graphic design experience. This is a non-coaching position. Interested candidates please send a portfolio and resume to Lucas Gauthier at Lgauthier@unr.edu.

Auburn: Ross Newton has been hired as director of high school relations. Newton coached the linebackers at Samford (FCS - AL), where he spent over 14 seasons.

Iowa Western CC (JC): Offensive coordinator / offensive line coach Donnie Woods has decided to step away after eight seasons with the program to pursue an opportunity outside of football.

Western Carolina (FCS - NC): ECU offensive grad assistant Graham Hobbs has been hired as the running backs coach at Western Carolina source tells FootballScoop. Prior to ECU, Hobbs coached quarterbacks at NC Central and was an offensive grad assistant at Marshall.

Iowa Central CC (JC): Iowa Central is looking to fill a defensive assistant position. Position is defensive backs. Pay is $8k plus room and board is included. Please send a resume with references to defensive coordinator Jeremy Conley at conley_j@iowacentral.edu if interested.

Fullerton (JC - CA): Fullerton College is looking to hire an offensive or defensive line coach. Looking for best fit. This is currently a stipend position, but there is the potential to teach classes with Physical Education/Kinesiology Master’s Degree. NCAA: The NCAA announced Tuesday it could approve all football players to transfer one time and play immediately by as soon as April. Details here.

St. Louis Battlehawks (XFL): Source tells FootballScoop that Rick Minter has been hired by the Battlehawks and will coach the linebackers. Minter, who most recentl served as the defensive coordinator for the Birmingham Iron (AAF), replaces Matt Raich who was recently hired by the Indianapolis Colts.
