FBS Staff Tracker: The 2020-21 FBS Staff Tracker page, where you can see how each new head coach is filling their staff, is up and running.

Syracuse: Mike Schmidt has been formally announced as offensive line coach.

UMass: As we previously shared, Kyle Segler's addition to the staff at UMass as tight ends coach is now official.

Illinois: Nate McNeal has been announced as the director of recruiting for the program. McNeal previously served as Director of High School Relations for the Illini from 2016-18, and he spent the 2019 and 2020 seasons at Temple as Director of Player Personnel, overseeing all recruiting efforts for the Owls.

Army: Mike Daniels is set to become Army's director of on-campus recruiting.

Les Miles: Some past allegations regarding Les Miles from his time at LSU have surfaced.

UCF: Gus Malzahn has announced the hire of Kenny Ingram to complete his on-field staff. A look at the full staff....

USC: John Bonney has joined the staff as a quality control analyst. Bonney played at Texas under Trojans defensive coordinator Todd Orlando and safeties coach Craig Naivar.

SMU: Jourdan Blake has joined the program as recruiting coordinator. Source adds that Allie Ueckert has been hired as on campus recruiting coordinator.

Penn State: As we previously shared, Anthony Poindexter has now been formally announced as co-defensive coordinator / safeties coach.

Tennessee: Sources tell FootballScoop that Matt Merritt, who had joined Josh Heupel's staff at UCF back in early January, is now joining Heupel at Tennessee.

Presbyterian (FCS - SC):Presbyterian College is looking for a game in the fall of 2021 due to a cancellation. We have 2 dates: preferably September 11, or possibly October 2. All scenarios are possible. Contact Kent Haltiwanger at 864-561-7691 or email at khalt@presby.edu.

Monmouth (D-III - IL): Monmouth College invites immediate applications for the position of Assistant Football Coach-Quarterbacks and Receivers Coach. The Quarterbacks-Receivers Coach is responsible for coaching the quarterbacks/receivers and assisting in the development of the offense, including practice and game planning, as well as being committed to the academic mission of the college. Additional duties and/or teaching responsibilities will be assigned on the basis of the skills of the successful candidate. Bachelor’s degree and successful coaching and recruiting experience in the sport of football are required for consideration for this position. Master’s degree preferred. North Dakota College of Science (JC - ND): North Dakota State College of Science is looking for a high energy football coach, to serve as an Assistant Coach for the Offense. The responsibilities include coaching an Offensive position group, recruiting, and other duties assigned by the HC. You should have a willingness to work hard, develop relationships, and be eager to advance in the profession. This a 10- month position starting mid-July. Playing experience and/or coaching the Offensive side of the ball preferred. Note: For the 2021 season, there is a $5000+ stipend, along with the Housing and Meal plan. Clarke (NAIA - IA): Clarke University is seeking a part-time assistant football coach on Defense. This is a 12-month staff position and compensation is 15k, on-campus housing, and meals. This position must live on-campus and will have some Residence Life duties. Other duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: Assist the head coach with all aspects of the football program, position group meetings and practice prep, academic monitoring responsibilities, and special teams assignment. Army: Princeton (OH) High School head coach Mike Daniels has accepted the on-campus recruiting director job at Army.

UMass: Former Marshall tight ends / co-special teams coordinator Kyle Seger has joined the UMass staff as tight ends coach.

Western New England (D-III – MA): Western New England University is seeking applicants for an intern level assistant coach position, working with defensive line or linebackers. Responsibilities will include coaching position group, running position meetings, recruiting and other duties assigned by the Head Coach. This position is a stipend position for the spring and has the potential to become a Graduate Assistant position in the fall of 2021. Local candidates are encouraged to apply. Buffalo State (D-III - NY): Buffalo State is currently seeking a 10-month offensive line coach. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, coaching your own position group, managing a recruiting area, film editing/breakdown, game/practice preparation, as well as other duties assigned by the head football coach. Candidates must have great work ethic, excellent communication skills, collegiate recruiting experience, and experience working with a diverse student population. In addition, a minimum of 2 years of collegiate coaching experience. A Bachelor’s degree and successful completion of a background check is required. Position will pay approximately $14,000.00 with full New York State benefits. Start date TBA.
