Wisconsin-La Crosse (D-III): Matt Janus has been named head coach.

Wyoming: Former Wake Forest and Minnesota defensive coordinator Jay Sawvel will be Wyoming's new defensive coordinator, according to multiple reports.

Ball State: The Cardinals have announced Joey Hecklinski as their quarterbacks coach.

Pitt: Pat Narduzzi takes to social media to epically declare he's not going anywhere.

TCU: Jerry Kill will serve as a special assistant to Gary Patterson with a focus on offense, former Colorado State running backs coach Bryan Applewhite will coach the running backs, and Doug Meacham has officially rejoined the program as inside receivers / tight ends coach.

Atlanta Falcons: Ben Steele, an offensive assistant for the team since 2019 who coached the Bucs tight ends prior to joining the Falcons, has been named tight ends coach.

Las Vegas Raiders: Rod Marinelli has been announced as defensive line coach. Also, Dayton (FCS - OH) offensive coordinator Austin King has been named an offensive quality control coach.

Maryland: Per source, defensive line coach Delbert Cowsette will not return, and graduate assistant Matt Robinson in moving into an analyst role. Maryland has announced that outside linebackers coach Brian Williams will move to defensive line, and Brawley Evans has been promoted from an analyst role to outside linebackers.

North Dakota State College of Science (JC - ND): North Dakota State College of Science is looking for a high energy coach, with experience playing and/or coaching the Offensive Line. The responsibilities include coaching the Offensive line, recruiting, and other duties assigned by the HC. You should have a willingness to work hard, develop relationships, and be eager to advance in the profession. Currently, there is a Housing and a Meal plan thru the end of the Spring semester (May 15), with a 10 month position starting August 1 or before. Note: For the 2020 season, there is a $4000+ stipend, along with the Housing and Meal plan. There is job possibilities within the Athletic department or community based on education and/or work experience. Minority coaches are strongly encouraged to apply. Utah State: Weber State (FCS - UT) offensive coordinator Dave Schramm has been named running backs coach for the Aggies.

Virginia Tech: Weeks after interviewing for the Baylor job before returning to Virginia Tech, Justin Fuente announced players who enter the transfer portal will not be welcome back at Virginia Tech. Huh?

Pittsburgh Steelers: The organization has announced that they've signed vice president and general manager Kevin Colbert to a one-year contract extension.

Tulsa: Zach Hanson has been announced as the new offensive line coach. Hanson previously served as an offensive analyst on Lincoln Riley's staff at Oklahoma.

Valpo (FCS - IN): Valparaiso University is looking for interns on the offensive and defensive side of the ball with OL, TE, WR and DL experience. These positions are available to those aspiring to get into the coaching profession. Positions include, but is not limited to: coaching own position, recruiting assigned area, video editing/coordinating, film sharing, manage and direct scout team, weekly data input, weekly reports, and other duties assigned by the head coach. Ideal candidates are organized and have knowledge in Hudl/video editing, Microsoft Excel, Visio, Word, PowerPoint and other computer skills. This is a Volunteer Position, with potential stipend. South Dakota State (FCS): The program is no longer accepting applicants for its special teams / film quality control position. Thanks to everyone for the interest.

Tennessee: Newly promoted tight ends coach Joe Osovet has received a two-year deal that runs through January 31, 2020 and he'll earn $225k in year one and $250k in year two, according to Blake Toppmeyer.

Arizona Cardinals: The team has re-hired defensive line coach Brentson Buckner who was previously with the team from 2013-17, and former tight ends coach Jim Dray (who was with the Browns last year as a quality control coach) has accepted a quality control position, and Mark Naylor is taking over as a strength and conditioning assistant role, while Derius Swinton is filling the assistant special teams coach job. Also, Charlie Bullen has been promoted to outside linebackers coach, Don Shumpert has been promoted to offensive assistant and Spencer Whipple has received a promotion to assistant wide receivers coach.

South Dakota State University (FCS): South Dakota State University is looking to hire a Director of Media Production. This is a 10-month stipend position with no benefits, housing or meals, with the opportunity to earn additional income through summer camps. Preferred candidates will have prior experience with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premier, and other video/picture editing software. This person will be responsible for running all social media platforms, producing all creative media (graphics, highlights, hype videos) as well as any other duties assigned by the Head Coach and Recruiting Coordinator. Michigan State: A significant update today (see bottom here) on Michigan State's search.

Penn State: On the status of his new contract, James Franklin shares today that he hasn't yet signed it and the hold up is strictly procedural.

Philadelphia Eagles: The team is adding passing game coordinator title to quarterbacks coach Press Taylor, Tom Pelissero shared today on NFL Network. Multiple reports share that the Eagles play calling will be done by Doug Pederson and that an offensive coordinator will not be named.

Charlotte: Former Old Dominion running backs coach Charles Bankins is expected to join the staff as special teams coordinator and Richmond (FCS - VA) defensive coordinator Adam Brathwaite is expected to be the new linebackers coach, Pete Thamel tweets. Bankins previously served as the special teams coordinator at Vanderbilt prior to joining the ODU staff.

Penn State: James Franklin notes today that he does not anticipate the search for a new defensive line coach to take much longer. Stay tuned.

Duke: David Cutcliffe shares today that he plans to take over the offensive play calling this fall.

Philadelphia Eagles: Former Broncos offensive coordinator Rich Scangarello and former Mississippi State pass game coordinator / quarterbacks coach Andrew Breiner are expected to join the staff, Tim McManus tweets.

Texas: Tom Herman plans to hire Indiana assistant defensive coordinator and defensive line coach Mark Hagen, and will coach the defensive line alongside current Longhorns assistant Oscar Giles, 247 reports.

Mark Dantonio: With Dantonio's retirement, there are now more Power 5 head coaches age 40 or younger (nine) than 60 or older (eight). What does this say about the future of the profession?

Albion (D-III - MI): Albion College has one part-time position available on staff coaching tight ends / assistant offensive line. This is a 5-6 month position with employment beginning as soon as possible. Bachelor’s degree required. Experience in college athletics as a coach or player preferred. Liberty: Per source, defensive graduate assistant Eric Ponio has been promoted to a defensive analyst role.

Michigan State: Early update on the search in East Lansing.

LA Chargers: Source tells FootballScoop that Ryan Milus, who just completed the 2019 Inaugural Alex G. Spanos Fellowship, has been elevated to quality control coach on defense. Prior to the Chargers, he was a defensive assistant working with the secondary at Weber State University (FCS - UT) during the 2017-18 seasons.

Masters of Sports Administration:Upper Iowa’s MSA degree provides learners with the current theories, concepts, and learning models necessary to assume administrative, coaching and leadership roles in high school, higher education and sports business settings. The online degree is available with emphasis in Sports Management or Coaching & Leadership Education.

Florida Tech (D-II): Florida Tech has an immediate opening for a restricted earnings wide receiver or tight ends coach. Compensation includes a $16,000 stipend with NO benefits. Housing is NOT included. This is a 10-Month position (August to May) and starts IMMEDIATELY. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: recruiting, on-field coaching, data analytics, scouting, practice preparation, and assisting the head football coach in all areas of program administration. Syracuse: Last night, word broke that Dino Babers was hiring Tony White away from Arizona State as his new defensive coordinator. Babers had previously filled the role with San Diego State's Zach Arnett, but he left for the defensive coordinator position on Mike Leach's staff at Mississippi State.

Juniata (D-III - PA): Muhlenberg College (D-III - PA) quarterbacks and wide receivers coach / special teams coordinator Josh Carter has been announced as the team's new head coach.

Arizona State: With Tony White heading to Syracuse, Herm Edwards promoted Marvin Lewis and Antonio Pierce to co-defensive coordinator roles for the Sun Devils. More on that here.
