Indiana: Sources tell FootballScoop tight ends coach Nick Sheridan will be promoted to offensive coordinator. Bruce Feldman just tweeted the same. Feldman adds that receivers coach Grant Heard is expected to become co-offensive coordinator.

San Diego State: SDSU has confirmed today's earlier news, announcing that Rocky Long is "retiring as San Diego State's head coach." Brady Hoke has been officially named the Aztecs' new head coach.

Southern Illinois (FCS): Southern Illinois has an immediate opening for an offensive graduate assistant looking to start ASAP (QB or OL). All interested candidates are encouraged to apply you must be able to get into a graduate program at SIU. Position includes but is not limited to: working with an offensive position group, OC and HC, video editing/game breakdowns, self scouting, assisting with on-campus recruiting visits. ECU: Defensive line coach coach Jeff Hanson has announced his retirement from coaching after 46 years on the sidelines. Please join us in wishing coach Hanson all the best in retirement and with this next chapter of his life.

San Diego State: Sources tell FootballScoop that Brady Hoke is planning to make significant staff changes. San Diego State Staff Tracker (2019-20).

Carson-Newman (D-II - TN): Carson-Newman will be looking for 2 Graduate Assistants to help with Football. One on each side of the ball. Position will include video, recruiting, and on the field Coaching duties. Applicants must be in enrolled into a graduate program at the University. Bluffton (D-III - OH): Bluffton University has an immediate opening for a graduate assistant football coach / Tight Ends and S&C. This is a 10 month position which reports to the head football coach and director of athletics. The position includes housing, meals, stipend and graduate school. The assistant is responsible for the following; daily implementation of academic monitoring/mentoring, on field position coach, recruiting both on and off campus in accordance with university, HCAC and NCAA policies and procedures, video/academic support for assigned position players, S&C coordinating and other duties as assigned. Qualifications for this position include; Bachelor’s Degree, experience coaching and/or playing tight end, S&C experience and acceptance into Masters of Business/Masters of Education program. Carolina: GM Marty Hurney stated today he and Matt Rhule will work collaboratively to hire an assistant general manager.

Texas: Safeties coach Craig Naivar, who served as the interim defensive coordinator for their bowl game, is not being retained Brian Davis tweets.

Kentucky: Anwar Stewart, a former Wildcat player who worked on the Kentucky staff during the 2017 and 18 seasons before joining the Appalachian State staff as defensive line coach this past season, is the favorite to replace Derrick LeBlanc as defensive line coach, the Courier-Journal shares. Sources tell us this is happening.

Lakeland (D-III - WI): Lakeland University is accepting applicants for the position of defensive coordinator. Candidates should possess college recruiting experience, preferably at the Division III level and experience working with a diverse population. Bakersfield College (JC - CA): Head coach Jeff CHudy has announced his retirement, ending a 16-year run with the program where he went 112-67. The school notes a search for his successor will begin immediately.

Averett (D-III - VA): Averett University is seeking qualified applicants for the position of graduate assistant working with the defensive line. This position is a part-time coaching position, enrollment in one of Averett University’s graduate program is a requirement of this position. Responsibilities could include: Assisting head coach in organizing and conducting practices and contests in all aspects necessary in running a competitive Division III program, Assisting in the recruitment of a diverse group of qualified student athletes for successful participation at the varsity athletic level, Demonstrate leadership, sportsmanship, and conduct becoming of the coaching profession adhering to all college and professional sport association guidelines, Adhere to all NCAA, USA South and sport rules and regulations. Qualifications to include: Bachelor’s degree and successful coaching, playing, and/or teaching experience is required, Experience at the intercollegiate level is preferred, Valid driver’s license and a clear driving record required. Washington Redskins: Scott Turner has been announced as offensive coordinator, and Nate Kaczor has been retained as special teams coordinator.

Wesleyan (D-III - CT): Wesleyan University is currently accepting applications for an intern / GA that will coach the wide receivers. The position includes a $10K Stipend, Free Grad classes, and meals during the school year. The successful candidate will have a four year degree. Previous playing / coaching experience is also recommended. Wesleyan University is a member of the NESCAC Football Conference and is a highly competitive academic institution. Virginia Tech: Bill Teerlinck has been officially added as the Hokies new defensive line coach. Daryl Tapp will work with Teerlinck as co-defensive line coach. Teerlinck has spent the past three season with the Buffalo Bills, the past two as defensive line coach.

Abilene Christian (FCS - TX): Per source, Donte Ellington is the new wide receivers coach. He spent last season at Eastern Kentucky (FCS).

Dallas Cowboys: Adam Schefter tweets that, in addition to Kellen Moore staying as offensive coordinator and John Fassel coming on board as special teams coordinator (both were also reported last night by others), Jim Tomsula is expected to join the staff as defensive line coach. Tomsula was the defensive line coach for the Redskins last season.

Missouri: Tori Schoonover is Missouri's new director of recruiting operations. Schoonover previously worked at Appalachian State as an administrative assistant and worked with Eli Drinkwitz at Boise State in a variety of roles, including as a recruiting specialist.

Philadelphia Eagles: Head coach Doug Pederson shares that offensive coordinator Mike Groh will be back in 2020.

Georgetown (FCS - Washington, DC): Georgetown University Football is looking for a creative Social Media/Graphic Design Intern that can assist with providing engaging content to promote and grow the Georgetown Football brand. The ideal applicant will possess strong knowledge in digital media and have experience as a content creator for various social media sites such as Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook. Additional skills with video editing and Photoshop are preferable for the role. The successful candidate will be responsible for posting content on the Georgetown Football social media accounts, formulating content calendars on a monthly basis, and devising interactive campaigns. Washington Redskins: Former Panthers defensive line coach Sam Mills III is expected to join Ron Rivera's staff, per Joe Person.

Oregon: An update on Mario Cristobal's search for his next offensive coordinator.

Cleveland: The Browns are interviewing Eagles defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz today. They have Kevin Stefanski tomorrow and Josh McDaniels Friday. Ian Rapoport reports the Browns plan to complete each interview, "rather than cut it off and hire someone early. They want to complete the process." The risk the Browns run in this is allowing other teams to potentially secure assistant coaches the Browns' new head coach would have wanted; but this apparently is a risk the Browns are willing to live with.

Boston College: Jeff Hafley is hiring Sean Duggan as linebackers coach Pete Thamel tweets. Duggan was a captain at BC and was on staff with Hafley at Ohio State and previously at Hawaii as well.

Mississippi State: An update on Steve Sarkisian and Mississippi State.

South Dakota Mines (D-II): Per source Abilene Christian (FCS - TX) wide receivers coach / recruiting coordinator Ryan Gent has accepted the offensive coordinator job.

Oklahoma Panhandle State (NAIA): Oklahoma Panhandle State University, located in Goodwell, OK is seeking applicants for an assistant football coach (offensive line). Candidate will be responsible for; coaching their own position group, have their own recruiting area, and additional responsibilities within the football program as assigned by the Head Coach. A Bachelor’s Degree is required, Master’s Degree preferred (with Master’s Degree there is the potential to teach as well). Must be able to pass a background check. Previous collegiate playing or coaching experience is preferred. Position includes; $16K salary over 11- months and possibility of housing, there are NO BENEFITS attached to this position. Mississippi State: Word is the search could be honing in on Alabama offensive coordinator Steve Sarkisian. Aaron Suttles reports there is "some real interest on both sides". One source close to Sark told FootballScoop, "if they make a fair offer, he'll take it." If this deal goes down, they must by Mississippi law rename the town #SarkVegas.

Memphis: Former Ole Miss defensive coordinator Mike MacIntyre is a strong candidate to become defensive coordinator at Memphis tweets Pete Thamel.

Auburn: Offensive line coach JB Grimes has stepped down to pursue other opportunities.
