Recruiting: Ohio State and Michigan have announced they are suspending recruiting travel for the time being.

XFL: The XFL game Sunday between the Seattle Dragons and the LA Wildcats will take place at Seattle's CenturyLink Field...with no fans in attendance.

Louisiana-Lafayette: Briazja Wade is joining the staff as director of on-campus recruiting.

NCAA: The NCAA has announced March Madness will go on; but no fans will be allowed to attend.

UNLV: The program has formally announced the addition of Terrence Samuel as passing game coordinator / wide receivers coach.

Kent State: Source tells FootballScoop Kent State will not have spring practices or a spring game. We expect them to make a full announcement of this later today. Update> Kent State has now announced no Spring game, no Spring practices or recruiting activities to occur either until at least April 13th. In their statement Sean Lewis added, "When traditional campus activities resume, we'll see where resuming Spring football practice falls in that discussion."

Carthage (D-III - WI): Carthage College has an opening for a restricted earnings position on the offensive side. Position will be coaching the wide receivers, have his own recruiting area, and responsible for a variety of duties as assigned by the head coach and offensive coordinator. Linfield (D-III - OR): Linfield University is seeking an assistant football coach / offensive line coach. The offensive line coach assists the head football coach, and participates in recruiting high school and transfer athletes for the college's football program. The coach will supervise and co-coordinate the team's offensive line unit. Other duties as assigned by the head football coach or athletic director. The position is full-time with benefits included. Syracuse: Dino Babers has officially announced the addition of Chris Achuff as linebackers coach. Achuff spent the 2019 season as the assistant defensive line coach for the Arizona Cardinals.

Arkansas State: Per source, Cade Camp, who previously served as the offensive line graduate assistant at South Alabama, has joined the staff as an offensive graduate assistant working with the offensive line.

Southern (FCS - LA): The program has announced the addition of former UTSA defensive coordinator Jason Rollins (safeties / special teams coordinator), former offensive line graduate assistant Brian Lepak (OL / Run Game Coordinator), as well as Vincent Marshall (wide receivers), Zach Grossi (quarterbacks / offensive coordinator), and Chris Browne (tight ends).

New England Patriots: Assistant GM Eliot Wolf has joined the Patriots staff in a consulting capacity, Neil Stratton tweets. Wolf previously spent 14 seasons with the Packers and most recently helped the Seahawks during the 2020 NFL Combine.

Edinboro (D-II - PA): Edinboro University is looking for volunteer coaches for the Spring and Fall. These positions will be unpaid. Local coaches are encouraged to apply. Please send resumes to Head Coach Jake Nulph

Tennessee: Quarterbacks coach Chris Weinke has a new two-year contract and raise, per Knox News. Weinke will now earn $450k annually with a contract that expires January 31, 2022. Weinke made $355k under his previous contract.

Southern (FCS - LA): Former Tampa Bay Bucs quality control coach Zack Grossi, who spend last season as the quarterbacks coach at Hampton (FCS - VA), is the new offensive coordinator / quarterbacks coach at Southern, Greg Auman tweets.

UCF: Athletic director Danny White has signed a new five-year deal that bumps his annual salary to $1,081,500, according to the a report. The new deal makes him the highest paid athletic director in The Sunshine State.

SUNY Cortland (D-III - NY): The SUNY Cortland Athletics Department seeks full-time first assistant coach for the men’s football program to serve as defensive assistant and assist in all aspects of administration and operation of the competitive NCAA, Division III Football Program in the Empire 8 athletic conference at SUNY Cortland. This position has an 11-month obligation August 1 – June 30 annually. Minimum Qualifications: bachelor’s degree and demonstrated experience coaching at the college level on the defensive side of the ball. A master’s degree in Physical Education, Sport Management, Exercise Science or related field is preferred. Seattle Seahawks: The Seahawks are promoting quarterbacks coach Dave Canales to passing game coordinator and have also elevated offensive assistant Austin Davis to quarterbacks coach, Albert Breer tweets.

South Alabama: The University of South Alabama is currently accepting applications for an Offensive Line Graduate Assistant. Offensive Line playing experience and or coaching experience is required. A graduate assistant coach is any coach who has received an undergraduate degree or has exhausted athletics eligibility (whichever occurs later) within the previous seven (7) years. The successful applicant must have a college degree and also gain acceptance into graduate school. A minimum of a 2.50 undergraduate GPA is required to gain acceptance into the University of South Alabama graduate school. South Alabama: The University of South Alabama is currently accepting applications for an unpaid Defensive/Special Teams Quality Control Intern. The intern will assist the coaching staff in defensive/special teams game-planning, film breakdowns, recruiting, and other various day-to-day tasks. This position is strictly voluntary and does not provide any stipend, housing, or any other benefits. However, this position does have the potential to grow into a Graduate Assistant or paid Quality Control position based on performance. It is preferred that the applicants have high school or college coaching experience and be proficient in Microsoft Office.
