FBS Staff Tracker: The 2020-21 FBS Staff Tracker page, where you can see how each new head coach is filling their staff, is up and running.

Buffalo Bills: Mark Carrier has been named player engagement director. Carrier previously worked in the front office for the Panthers since 2011 where he began as the Player Engagement Director before being elevated to Executive Director of the Football Staff in 2019.

Vanderbilt: Clark Lea believes he's leading a program at Vanderbilt that has "never been given a chance to develop."

South Dakota Mines (D-II): Austin Stephens has joined the staff as offensive line coach. Stephens spent the past two seasons at Utah State as a graduate assistant where he worked with the Aggies offensive line.

Kentucky: Louie Matsakis is taking over special teams responsibilities at Kentucky.

Wilkes (D-III - PA): Per source, Ameer Ismail has accepted the defensive coordinator / defensive line job. Ismail spent the 2020 season at Western Michigan as an analyst and assisting the linebackers and back in January he had accepted the defensive coordinator / pro liaison position at Judson (NAIA - IL).

Northwest Missouri State University (D-II): Northwest Missouri State is looking to hire two (2) graduate assistants to aid in the football program. The right candidate should have playing and/or coaching experience on the defensive side of the ball, specifically the defensive line or secondary (one for each position will be hired.) Graduate assistants are responsible for, but not limited to: assist full time coaches in position meetings, assist full time coach to run drills at practice, some special teams responsibilities, manage scout teams during game weeks, help game plan by breaking down opponents and finding tendencies, manage assigned recruiting area, game day preparation, student athlete development, and other duties assigned by the Head Football Coach. Position includes an 8-month stipend ($6,000) and tuition waiver for graduate school. Qualifications include bachelors degree and acceptance into graduate program (minimum GPA of 3.0 in 8 hours of graduate work or 2.75 GPA in undergraduate degree). Oklahoma State: Oklahoma State has hired former Florida Atlantic and Miami assistant DJ Linton as a defensive line analyst, sources tell FootballScoop.

Tennessee: Tennessee has paused all in-person activities through at least Monday due to positive covid tests within the program.

Missouri Valley Conference (FCS): The Missouri Valley is hiring Jeff Jackson as its next commissioner, tweets Pete Thamel. Jackson formerly ran basketball operations for the Big 12 and Big South and is formerly the head basketball coach at Furman.

Troy: New offensive grad assistants at Troy include Gunner Hudspeth (moved from special teams), Brendan Bognar (from Samford), and Joey Connors (from Greensboro College) source tells FootballScoop.

Texas Tech: Jes Hryn, who previously served as director of on campus recruiting at Temple, has accepted the same position in Lubbock, per source.

Boston College: Jeff Hafley shared that defensive backs coach Aazaar Addul-Rahim turned down a Power Five coordinator opportunity this past off season and has added the role of associate head coach.

Auburn: Auburn is set to pay Bryan Harsin’s staff nearly $7 million in 2021.
