FBS Staff Tracker: The 2020-21 FBS Staff Tracker page, where you can see how each new head coach is filling their staff, is up and running.

Middle Tennessee: MTSU is defending itself against nepotism charges after the head coach's son was hired as wide receivers coach.

Hawaii: The University of Hawaii is looking to fill a Defensive GA position. Interested applicants should send their resumes and references to football@hawaii.edu. No phone calls please.

Western Michigan: Chris Chestnut has joined the program as tight ends coach after spending the past two seasons as receivers coach at Western Kentucky. Chestnut played his college ball at WMU from 2002-03 and has prior coaching stops at Tennessee State, Miami, South Florida and Ellsworth CC (JC - IA).

UCF: Charles Moore, who had been on the Kansas staff since last February as a senior special teams analyst, has joined the UCF staff as a defensive analyst.

New Haven (D-II - CT): There is a full time assistant coaching position open at the University of New Haven. Defensive Line position. Experience recruiting CT and South NJ would be preferred. Salary is $35,000 with full benefits. Interested candidates should email cover letter and resume to Defensive Coordinator Matt Scott at mscott@newhaven.edu. Job will be filled very quickly.

NFL Hiring Cycle Change: One NFL team is proposing a significant change to the NFL hiring cycle.

LSU: Justin Poindexter is joining the staff as a defensive analyst.

Yale (FCS - CT): Yale University is seeking a defensive quality control coach. The candidate needs 1-3 years of coaching experience on the defensive side of the ball. Additionally, the candidate needs to have a Bachelor’s Degree and strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Word) and XOS. This position will be working with the Defensive Line and will assist in the areas of recruiting, practice planning, and operations. Other duties may be assigned by the Defensive Coordinator or Head Coach. Pay is 10k with no housing or meals included. Hired candidate will need to go through a background check. Norfolk State (FCS - VA): Head coach Latrell Scott is stepping down to take a position at East Carolina, per report.

Bluefield State (D-II - WV): Bluefield State College (DII-WV): Bluefield State College is looking to fill open dates in 2021 on October 9th, October 30th, November 6, November 13th, November 20th, November 27th, and December 4th. Any interested DII, DIII, or NAIA programs can contact Head Coach Tony Coaxum at acoaxum@bluefieldstate.edu.

North American University (NAIA - TX): North American University is currently playing an independent schedule Fall 2021 and plans to join the NAIA in 2022. We currently have openings. We will consider all games. We wouldn't mind hosting and we are also open to traveling if it is regional or has a guarantee package. Open dates are 9/18, 10/2, 10/16, 10/23, 10/30, 11/13. If interested, please contact Kenneth Apande at kapande@na.edu.

Hawaii: Florida State graduate assistant Marcus Davis is expected to be the new wide receivers coach on Todd Graham's staff, Pete Thamel tweets.

Alabama: Mark Oprhey, who spent the last two seasons as the defensive backs coach at Utah State, is joining Nick Saban's staff as an analyst, Matt Zenitz tweets. Ophrey previously coached at Montana State and South Carolina.

Akron: The Akron Beacon Journal reports that athletic director Larry Williams will not pursue a contract extension and his deal is set to expire this summer. Williams has led Akron athletics since August of 2015.

Dakota State (NAIA - SD): Mayville State (NAIA - ND) offensive coordinator Andrew Loudenback has accepted the same position at Dakota State, per source.

West Florida: Source tells FootballScoop Ron Dickerson jr. is set to join the staff as receivers / football operations. The former Gardner Webb head coach spent the 2019 season at Jackson State as offensive coordinator.

Arkansas: Former University of Houston defensive coordinator Joe Cauthen has accepted an analyst position working with Barry Odom and Sam Pittman at Arkansas source tells FootballScoop. Prior to serving as defensive coordinator at Houston, Cauthen served in the same role at Arkansas State five seasons.

Central Washington (D-II): CWU is looking to fill open dates in 2023 on Week 5, September 30th, Week 10, November 4th, 2022 with possible home/away agreements for 2024. Any interested DII or FCS programs can contact Head Coach Chris Fisk at chris.fisk@cwu.edu.

Troy: Dayne Brown is being promoted to special teams coordinator / tight ends coach at Troy, Pete Thamel tweets. He previously served as the program's off-field director of scouting and has prior experience at Kansas, Southern Miss and Northwestern.

Kentucky: The Bluegrass State has unanimously passed a bill that would allow an extra year of eligibility for HIGH SCHOOL seniors.

Minnesota State Mankato (D-II): Bryan Boesen has joined the program as running backs coach after spending the last few seasons as an assistant at Hastings (NAIA - NE).

UCF: Sources tell FootballScoop Gus has secured another key hire from Auburn.

Green Bay Packers: The Green Bay Packers have formally announced the following promotions; Jerry Gray has been promoted to defensive backs/passing game coordinator, Adam Stenavich to offensive line/run game coordinator, Rayna Stewart to assistant special teams coach and Connor Lewis to special teams assistant/game management specialist. The organization has also hired John Dunn as a senior analyst, Justin Hood as a defensive quality control coach, Ryan Mahaffey as an offensive quality control coach and Tim Zetts as an offensive quality control coach.

Arkansas: Sam Pittman is making a key new hire to oversee recruiting.

Edward Waters College (NAIA - FL): One game into its spring season, Edward Waters has made a head coaching change.

Charlotte: Sources tell FootballScoop Charlotte is closing in on an offensive line hire.

LA Rams: The team has now announced new titles for the following coaches: Thomas Brown (RBs / assistant HC), Ejiro Evero (secondary / pass game coordinator), Wes Phillips (TEs / pass game coordinator), Eric Henderson (DL / run game coordinator), Chris Shula (LBs), John Bonamego (senior coaching assistant), Thad Bogardus (assistant LBs) Jonathan Cooley (assistant secondary) and Zak Kromer (offensive assistant).
