LSU: According to Steven Godfrey of SBNation, "If, at this moment, LSU were to name its next head coach, Orgeron would be the favorite." Godfrey adds that LSU's short list of other candidates includes Jimbo Fisher, Tom Herman, Jim Mora, Dana Holgorsen, and "a young, offensive-minded candidate." Everything that we have heard at FootballScoop is that if Oregeron beats Alabama this weekend, the job is his. If he ultimately does not end up with the job, it is our belief, based on information from several sources, that there are other candidates beyond the aforementioned list that LSU is considering. We'll update more following the Alabama game.
