Stephen F. Austin (FCS - TX): Head coach Colby Carthel has tested positive for COVID and named his dad interim head coach.

Alabama: Nick Saban and athletic director Greg Byrne have both tested positive for COVID. Details, including who will take the helm in Saban's absence, here.

Chicago Bears: Bears offensive line coach Juan Castillo will be away from the facility through Sunday Matt Nagy announced today. Nagy said Castillo had a close contact away from the facility with someone who tested positive.

SMU: Sonny Dykes's recruiting strategy has worked beautifully. The program did a great job distilling that strategy into one slick 30-second video.

Conference USA: The conference championship game is being moved back from December 5th to Friday December 18th.

NFL: The NFL has moved Super Bowl LVIII (2024) out of New Orleans, instead giving Nola the 2025 game. Will the 2024 game go to Vegas?

Arizona: Kevin Sumlin has returned to practice a week after testing positive for COVID.

Florida: Source tells FootballScoop Florida has retested a large number of players, all of whom are asymptomatic. The Gators expect to know more later today. Allan Taylor tweets that Florida has had 19 players test positive and they have quarantined another 10 based on presumed exposure.

Iowa Wesleyan (NAIA):Iowa Wesleyan University had some schedule adjustment and is now looking to fill its non-conference games in 2021/2022. This can be a single game contract, but open to a home and home for Week 1, 3, 4 or 5 of 2021 & 2022. Please contact MD Daniels at if interested.

Cal: Former Cal running back CJ Anderson, who spent the last several seasons in the NFL, has joined the staff as an offensive assistant. Anderson played for the Broncos, Panthers, Raiders, Rams and Lions since 2013.
