Big Ten: Nebraska president Ted Carter says a vote to resume the season is expected soon, and a conference source told ESPN a late October return isn't out of the question. More here.

Idaho (FCS): The Vandals have announced the promotion of offensive GA Pryce Tracy to running backs coach. He previously served in a variety of roles at Notre Dame and prior to that spent one season as the quarterbacks coach and recruiting coordinator at Arkansas Tech. Additionally, UI has Brian Reeder has moved from running backs coach to wide receivers coach, and Tony Spencer has moved from wide receivers to tight ends/fullbacks.

Louisiana Tech: Following a Covid spread after the area lost power in Hurricane Laura, Louisiana Tech's team had a spike in positive tests necessitating they postpone this weekend's game with Baylor, the University has announced.

Trinity International (NAIA - IL): Trinity International University (IL) has an immediate opening for an Offensive Restricted Earnings position working with Wide Receivers. Applicants must have a strong Christian faith and work within Trinity International University’s Christian mission. The position will have their own recruiting area and will be responsible for coaching and managing their own position, including position meetings. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to film breakdown and data entry, assisting with special teams, recruiting, running positional meetings, assisting with game preparation, and other duties assigned by the head coach. The position includes a $7,500 stipend, housing and some meals.
