Colorado: Special teams coordinator Toby Neinas is no longer part of the staff.

Charlotte: Per source, former EKU head coach Dean Hood is set to join the Charlotte staff. We understand Hood is expected to coach the tight ends.

ULM: Per source, Stephen F. Austin offensive coordinator Matt Kubik will be the new offensive coordinator at Monroe.

Davidson College (FCS - NC): Per source, Paul Nichols is making a significant changes offense. Offensive coordinator / offensive line Derham Cato, quaterbacks Jarrail Jackson and running backs / tight ends / special teams Diauntae Morrow will not return.

Union (D-III - NY): Union College head coach John Audino has announced his resignation. Audino won 152 games in 24 seasons at Union. A national search will begin immediately.

Missouri: The addition of Josh Heupel as offensive coordinator has now been formally announced.

UCLA: After being hospitalized for a blood clot in his lung Wednesday, Bruins offensive coordinator Noel Mazzone is at practice Thursday.

Montana State: Per SI, Indiana quality control assistant Courtney Messingham will be the new offensive coordinator on Jeff Choate's staff.

Georgia Southern: Per source, director of player development Mike Krysl will serve as special teams coordinator for the GoDaddy Bowl on December 23rd.

Fordham (FCS): Offensive coordinator / quarterbacks coach Andrew Breiner has been named head coach. Breiner has served as the program's offensive coordinator the past two seasons, and replaces Joe Moorhead, who left to become the offensive coordinator at Penn State.

Duke: David Cutcliffe noted today that he won't respond to emails or calls about the Blue Devils vacant offensive coordinator post until after their bowl game.

Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College (JC): Trinity Valley (JC - TX) offensive coordinator Clay Patterson is the new head coach at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M.

Kentucky: WKYT out of Kentucky is reporting that offensive coordinator Shannon Dawson will not return next season. Dawson has confirmed the news.

Arizona Western (JC): Arizona Western has four open dates for the 2016 August 27th, September 3rd, September 24th and October 1st. Arizona Western College is interested in all options for these dates, including a one-time home or away game and/or a home and home series. Saint Francis (FCS - PA): Saint Francis U (FCS-PA) is looking for guarantee games to play 2017. The open dates for 2017 are 9/2, 9/9, 9/23. Please email A.J. Anderson at if interested.

Hiram (D-III - OH): Randy Moore has resigned from the head coaching position. Moore has been a D-III coach for 24 years and says it is time for him to "look at other career options".

North Texas: Sources tell us Georgia inside linebackers coach/defensive special teams coordinator Mike Ekeler will be the defensive coordinator at North Texas.

Ferrum (D-III - VA): Rob Grande has been hired as the new head coach. Grande spent the past 11 seasons at Emory and Henry College (D-III - VA), six of them as associate head coach and the past eight as defensive coordinator.

Illinois: Per source, Colorado State-Pueblo (D-II) pass game coordinator / quarterbacks coach Jeff Hecklinksi will join the staff as tight ends coach and special teams coordinator. SI has reported the same. SI is also reporting, as expected, that former Missouri offensive line coach AJ Ricker will be joining the Illini staff in the same capacity. We hear this was not a done deal yet though.

Wilkes (D-III - PA): Former head coachFrank Sheptock, who led the program for 18 years, has been named head coach at Berwick HS (PA).

UVA-Wise (D-II): Per source, Dane Damron is the new head coach. Damron was the offensive coordinator at Eastern Kentucky (FCS) last season.

Missouri: Gabe DeArmond (PowerMizzou) is reporting that Josh Heupel will be the new offensive coordinator. We can confirm the pending hire. Heupel spent this past season at Utah State as offensive coordinator and spent eight years prior to that as an assistant at Oklahoma, the last four as co-offensive coordinator / play caller.

Stanford: Defensive coordinator Lance Anderson told the media last night "I'm not leaving Stanford for another coordinator position. I'm very happy here."

Independence CC (JC - KS): Independence CC is looking for an experienced offensive line coach and a young, energetic wide receivers coach who has D-I or D-II playing experience. Must be able to recruit Kansas and nationally. Interested candidates can send their materials to

Chaffey CC (JC - CA): Chaffey College is seeking two qualified applicants for an assistant football coach working with the Defensive Line and Defensive Backs. Desired qualifications include a Master’s degree in Kinesiology/Physical Education or Exercise Science and teaching experience. Playing experience/coaching experience at the collegiate level is desired. Applicants must possess strong communication skills and ability to recruit student-athletes. Applicants should have experience with Hudl digital editing system. Prospective applicant’s responsibilities would include administrative duties in game week organization and preparation, video breakdown of games and practices, opponent scout, and creating tendency reports. Will have own on-field coaching and recruiting responsibilities. This is a stipend position, with possible teaching assignment for qualified applicants. Georgia Southern: According to WJCL, the three leading candidates for the Georgia Southern job are interim head coach Dell McGee, Penn State co-defensive coordinator Brent Pry and Charleston Southern head coach Jamey Chadwell. All three candidates interviewed earlier this week, per the report. Sources told FootballScoop that Jacksonville State head coach John Grass was another potential candidate. No word as to whether GSU plans to wait to interview Grass until after this weekend's FCS semifinal matchup with Sam Houston State. We also understand that former Wake Forest head coach Jim Grobe has been involved in the process.
