Eastern Kentucky (FCS): New Mexico State offensive line coach Walt Wells is leaving to become assistant head coach / tackles & tight ends coach at Eastern Kentucky, per source.

Maryland: Maryland and defensive coordinator Brian Stewart have agreed to part ways, the school has announced. Inside linebackers coach Keith Dudzinski is being promoted to defensive coordinator.

Tampa Bay Bucs: The Bucs have hired former Bills offensive lineman Duke Preston as the team's new director of player development. Preston had been working in a similar capacity at Notre Dame.

Florida International: Per source, Tim Harris Jr. will be the new running backs coach. Harris Jr. is the head coach at Booker T. Washington HS (FL) where he has led the program to three straight state titles.

Montana: We're told that Montana currently has no openings on the staff.

Northern Michigan (D-II): Northern Michigan University is looking for games for the 2016 and 2017 season. The dates are October 29, 2016 and October 28, 2017. Please contact head coach Chris Ostrowsky if interested at costrows@nmu.edu.

Black Hills State (D-II - SD): Evan Eastburn is the new offensive coordinator, per source. Eastburn coached the offensive line at Coe College (D-III - IA) last year.

Purdue: Per source, John Carroll (D-III - GA) grad assistant Jonathan Cooley has accepted a grad assistant job with the Boilermakers.

Dakota Wesleyan (NAIA - SD): Zach Parks, the offensive line coach at the University of Jamestown (NAIA - ND), will be the new offensive coordinator / offensive line coach, per source.

Louisiana-Monroe: The Warhawks plan to hire Grambling defensive backs coach/academic coordinator Nate Brown as cornerbacks coach, according to a source.

Some commissioners want to end freshman eligibility for the first time since 1972. Who stands to benefit from that?

Cleveland Browns: The Browns have added Frank Edgerly (assistant receivers coach) and Michael McCarthy (offensive quality control).

Oklahoma: We understand that the Sooners have hired Stanford defensive assistant Diron Reynolds as their defensive line coach. Prior to joining the Stanford staff, Reynolds spent five seasons with the Vikings as an assistant defensive line coach, the 2007 season as the defensive line coach with the Dolphins, and five seasons under Tony Dungy in Indianapolis as a defensive quality control coach. Update: OU has now announced the hire.

Holy Cross (FCS - MA): Sources tell us that the offensive coordinator job is open and that Holy Cross is looking to hire a coach with experience coaching the quarterbacks.

Juniata College (D-III - PA): Scott Knapp is the new offensive coordinator, per source. Knapp most recently coached the quarterbacks at Susquehanna (D-III - PA).

Wheaton (D-III - IL): Per source, former Wheaton player Mitch Warren has been hired to coach the defensive ends / rush linebackers and assist with strength and conditioning.

Arizona Cardinals: Alex Marvez is reporting that the Cards will be adding Larry Foote to the coaching staff after he formally decides on if he still wants to play.

Florida International: Ron Turner has announced that Greg Moss, who has served as a defensive quality control coach the past three seasons, has been promoted to defensive backs coach. Also, Kort Shankweiler (who coached the TEs the past two seasons) will coach the quarterbacks and wide receivers, and Jason Brooks (who coached the DBs the past two years) will now coach the tight ends.

Chattanooga (FCS - TN): In addition to promoting defensive line coach Marcus West to assistant head coach and wide receivers coach Will Healy to passing game coordinator, linebackers coach Rusty Wright has added special teams coordinator duties.

Florida Atlantic: The Owls have announced former FAU quarterback Jared Allen as running backs coach/recruiting coordinator.

St. Louis Rams: Sources tell FootballScoop that Chris Weinke, the director of the IMG Football Academy, is joining the Rams staff as quarterbacks coach.

Maryville College (D-III - TN): Maryville assistant head coach / co-offensive coordinator / recruiting coordinator Shaun Hayes has been promoted to head coach. Hayes takes over for Mike Rader, who accepted an assistant coaching job at East Tennessee State recently.

Montana State: Linebackers assistant Micheal Rider will now coach the secondary.

Georgia: Steve Shimko, the director of player personnel at Western Michigan, has joined the staff at Georgia.

Hawaii: Per source, former Montana safeties coach / special teams coordinator Jake Cookus will join the Hawaii staff. We also hear that Simon Fraser (D-II - CA) defensive coordinator Abe Elimimian will join the staff as well.

UCLA: Former Penn State defensive coordinator Tom Bradley is the front-runner for the defensive coordinator job on Jim Mora's staff, per a report from UCLA's Scout site. Bradley spent last season as the assistant head coach / defensive line coach at West Virginia. We are told he is in negotiations.

Columbia (FCS): According to Philly.com, former longtime Penn head coach Al Bagnoli is in talks to become the new head coach at Columbia. Bagnoli retired after last season and spent 23 total seasons at Penn, winning 9 Ivy League titles.

Shippensburg (D-II - PA): Defensive grad assistant Jeff Tomasetti has been promoted to quarterbacks / wide receivers coach.
