Jackson State (MS - FCS): Sources tell us Timmy Chang will be the new offensive coordinator at Jackson State. Chang worked with the running backs at SMU this season. 

Miami Dolphins: The Dolphins have contacted Tennessee Titans vice president of player personnel Lake Dawson for a third interview for their vacant GM job according to Josina Anderson of ESPN. 

Louisville: Clint Hurtt has left the staff according to Jason Higdon of Fox Sports. We hear he's landed another job. Update: Sources tell us Hurtt is the assistant defensive line coach for the Chicago Bears. 

Eastern Illinois (FCS): The school has announced the hiring of Tony Gilbert (special teams), Michael Hodges (linebackers), Danny Nutt (running backs), Micah Smith (outside receivers), James Truxillo (safeties), Dennis "Dirt" Winston (defensive line), Thomas Woods (inside receivers) and Lucas Stortzum (DFO). They will join previously announced hires Greg Stevens (offensive coordinator) and Kane Wommack (defensive coordinator). 

Green Bay Packers: The Packers have promoted running backs coach Alex Van Pelt to quarterbacks coach. 

Arizona Cardinals: The Cardinals have promoted Terry McDonough to Vice President of Players Personnel. 

Jacksonville State: Sources tell us John Grass has promoted Larry Smith to quarterbacks coach and Trey Clark to offensive line coach. We also hear Nick Gentry will coach either the defensive line or outside linebackers. 

St. Lawrence (D-III - NY): St. Lawrence University is currently accepting applications for multiple Graduate Assistant football coach positions. Looking to fill positions on both the Offensive and Defensive side of the ball. The position includes a salary, free health insurance, free master’s degree (2 yr plan), and some meals. Duties include coaching own position, running own position meetings, coordinate all film activities, on the road recruiting, assist in weight room, and any other duties assigned by the Head Coach and Coordinators. Cleveland: Mike Pettine is the new head coach per Mary Kay Cabot who covers the Browns. The Browns have now announced it as well. 

Wyoming: Sources tell us Fresno State corners coach David Brown will join the Wyoming staff as secondary coach. 

Harbor College (CC - Los Angeles, CA): Sources tell us that former Claremont-McKenna (D-III - CA) linebackers coach Wilbert Gilmore is joining the staff.

Ohio State: The school has officially announced the hiring of Chris Ash as co-defensive coordinator and safeties coach. 

Baltimore Ravens: John Harbaugh will hold second interviews for the offensive coordinator job with former Redskins coordinator Kyle Shanahan (Thursday) and Steelers running backs coach Kirby Wilson (Friday), according to the Baltimore Sun.

Faulkner University (NAIA - AL): Faulkner University is currently looking for a Graduate Assistant Football Coach. Full Graduate Tuition will be provided. This position currently includes some meals and has the potential to include a small stipend. There is currently no housing available. All positions will be considered. Duties will include but not limited to film breakdown, assist in equipment room responsibilities, duties assigned by the Head Coach and Coordinators, and recruit area assigned by the recruiting coordinator. Chowan University (D-II - NC): Chowan University as a result of a schedule change of a ’14 opponent, Chowan University is now looking to fill the date of Saturday, September 20th. Preference would be a home and home (will travel in ’14, home in ’15); but, are willing to consider other options such as a FCS guarantee. Notre Dame: Former Washington Redskins quarterbacks coach Matt LaFleur has accepted the same position at Notre Dame. 

Jacksonville State: Sources tell us Nick Williams will join the staff as receivers coach (reported by Andrew Bone as well). 

Cleveland Browns: The Browns are offering Mike Pettine their head coaching job per Adam Schefter. Deal isn't finalized. Will update...

Sam Houston: K.C. Keeler has been named head coach at Sam Houston. Per multiple sources, athletic director Bobby Williams recommended to the board that they hire Mel Tjeerdsma but was ultimately over-ruled by university president Dana Gibson. Here's what you need to know.

San Jose State: Sources at San Jose State tell us that Tulane co-defensive coordinator Jon Sumrall (a finalist for our Defensive Line Coach of the Year) has been offered the defensive coordinator job at SJSU. We hear CJ is aggressively trying to keep Sumrall. We will keep you updated...

Eastern Michigan: Sources tell us that Drake (FCS - IA) defensive coordinator Brad McCaslin has an offer to join Chris Creighton's staff as defensive coordinator. The two have worked together the past two seasons when Creighton was the head coach at Drake.

Wofford: Jerome Riase has been named defensive line coach. Riase spent the last two seasons coaching the defensive line at Butler University (FCS - IN).

Eastern Michigan: EMU has now officially named Ryan Grubb (Sioux Falls offensive coordinator) the offensive line coach. 

Alabama A&M: James Spady has announced the additions of Brent Pradia (defensive line), Willie Totten (quarterbacks), Ashley Lelie (wide receivers), and Andy Fuller (running backs).

Detroit Lions: The Pioneer Press is reporting that former Vikings defensive coordinator Alan Williams will join the staff and coach the defensive backs.

Minnesota Vikings: Former Tennessee Titans defensive coordinator Jerry Gray will join Mike Zimmer's staff as defensive backs coach according to Alex Marvez of Fox Sports. 

Chicago Bears: Former UConn head coach Paul Pasqualoni (defensive line) and Reggie Herring (linebackers) have joined the staff. Combined, the two bring nearly 70 years of coaching experience with them to Marc Trestman's staff.

Coffeyville (CC): Coffeyville CC has an opening for a full-time defensive backs coach. Candidates MUST have extensive experience with defensive backs.
