John David Crow, who won the Heisman Trophy in 1957 before eventually becoming an assistant on Bear Bryant's staff at Alabama, and then becoming the head coach and AD at Northeast Louisiana, has passed away at age 79.

Wyoming: Receivers coach Kenni Burns has now officially resigned. Head coach Craig Bohl noted via a statement that he will restructure the staff responsibilities and will wait to fill Burns' position until after 2015 season.

Massachusetts Maritime (D-III): Massachusetts Maritime Academy is in search of an intern assistant football / baseball coach. Starting date will be August 2015. This is an opportunity for those who want to become a college coach and gain experience working with both a college football & baseball program. Duties will include coaching a position group, film breakdown of opponents & self-scout, recruiting assignment, weight room duties, along with other duties as assigned by both head coaches. Eastern Kentucky: Eastern Kentucky University is seeking unpaid intern positions. These positions are available to assist with both offensive and defensive sides of the ball. These are voluntary off the field positions (no pay or housing) that gives an opportunity for those that want to become college football coaches. Rockford (D-III - IL): Rockford has announced the hirings of offensive coordinator/quarterbacks and wide receivers coach David Benoit and defensive coordinator/defensive backs coach J.T. Zimmerman.

Cal Poly (FCS): Former Pacific defensive coordinator Jacob Yoro has been hired as defensive backs coach.

Akron: Akron is looking to hire a gruaduate assistant to work in recruiting and football operations. This is a paid GA position helping with all facets of the operation of the football program and recruiting. University of Rochester (D-III - NY): The University of Rochester is accepting applications for the position of assistant football coach. This is a part-time position including salary, tuition and health benefits. Baccalaureate degree or equivalent and previous experience as a football coach and/or football playing experience is required. Experience at the NCAA Division III level and coaching defensive secondary/linebackers is preferred. Coffeyville (CC - KS): Coffeyville CC is looking to fill offensive intern positions for the 2015 season. Oregon State: Central Florida athletic director Todd Stansbury is being tabbed as the new AD at Oregon State according to ESPN and multiple outlets.
