Longtime college assistant Steve Little, who most recently coached the outside linebackers at Lake Forest (D-III - IL) and also served as strength coach, has passed away after a long illness. Please join us in praying for his family. Little also coached with the Chicago Bears and at Temple, Purdue, Iowa State, and Trinity International.

Cal Lutheran (D-III - CA): Cal Lutheran is searching for a part-time defensive assistant, position TBD based upon experience. This is a STIPEND-ONLY position (no benefits, no housing, and no meals other than training camp) paid August-November 2014, and the successful candidate must be able to secure housing within driving distance to campus. Film breakdown experience and Hudl proficiency required. Collegiate or community college defensive coaching experience is preferred, but not required. Mercyhurst (D-II - PA): Frostburg State defensive grad assistant JJ Eckels has accepted an offensive grad assistant position on the Mercyhurst staff working with the receivers.

Lock Haven (D-II - PA): Former tight ends coach Ty Traister is the new head coach at Northampton HS (VA).

Austin College (D-III - Sherman, TX): Austin College is seeking an assistant coach that will also assist with the baseball program in the Spring. Additionally the finalist will serve as the coordinator of persistence and academic monitoring for student athletes within the department. Bachelor’s Degree and three years’ experience in athletics or academic advising required. Compensation will include $20,000 per year and on campus shared housing. Arizona Western (JC): Arizona Western College located in Yuma, AZ is searching for an offensive line coach. This is a part-time position with a stipend of $6,800 plus housing. Responsibilities will include recruiting and coaching your own position. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree, collegiate playing experience and or coaching experience, excellent communication and leadership skills. Hanover (D-III - IN): Former Notre Dame player and longtime Cincinnati area high school coach Jim Hautman has joined the Hanover staff and will coach the offensive line.

Seattle Seahawks: Jeff Braxton, defensive line coach / recruiting coordinator at Delaware State (FCS), will be participating in the Bill Walsh Minority Fellowship program with the Seahawks.
