Western Carolina: Sources tell FootballScoop former Georgia Tech and Penn State defensive grad assistant Zac Etheridge is joining the Western Carolina staff coaching the corners. 

Clemson: Northwestern HS (SC) head coach Kyle Richardson, who was 58-14 in five seasons leading the program, has accepted a position on the staff at Clemson.

Lake Erie College (D-II - OH): Per source, former Apprentice School (D-III - VA) offensive line coach Norman Gee has accepted the same position at Lake Erie.

Florida: Joshua Linham, a former UCF player and graduate assistant, has joined the Gators staff as a defensive grad assistant.

Scoop him up:Michael Collins is a young college coach with a handful of years as a defensive coordinator at the college level under his belt at both Midland University (NAIA - NE) and Dakota State (NAIA - SD). At Dakota State, Collins was instrumental in turning around a program and helping them notch their first winning season in 16 years for a program that had just seven wins in the previous five seasons. There, he also helped the defense improve in nearly every statistical defensive category and coached the linebackers, defensive backs, and also assisted with the defensive line. Prior coaching experience for Collins includes stops at Jamestown College, William Penn, Iowa Wesleyan, and Central Michigan - where he assisted Brian Kelly with the quarterbacks as a student assistant. Collins has unique experience on both sides of the ball and worked with the wide receivers at William Penn and the quarterbacks at Iowa Wesleyan. During his time coaching, Collins has developed relationships with Steve Miller, Todd Hafner, and Josh Anderson. Collins can be reached at mike33123@gmail.com.

Earlham College (D-III - IN): Earlham College is looking for contest against a like minded institution or a team of similar roster size in the 2016 and 2017. Trinity International (NAIA - FL): Per sources, Wilkinson County HS (MS) defensive coordinator Dwayne Taylor has been hired as a defensive graduate assistant.

Stetson (FCS - FL): Mississippi Gulf Coast (JC) tight ends coach Jonathan Johnson has joined the Stetson staff as defensive line coach, per source.

St. Anselm (D-II - NH): Sources tell FootballScoop that head coach Patrick Murphy has been let go at Saint Anselm. Murphy took over the head coaching job in 2008 and was named conference co-coach of the year in 2014 after guiding the program to a 6-5 finish, which marked the first winning season in 14 years for the program. The team finished 3-8 last year.

Stanford: The program has announced that the quarterbacks position has been endowed and the role will now be known as the Kevin Hogan Quarterbacks Coach.

The contributors to this study had a combined win percentage of .734 including 47 division championships and three national titles all within the last three seasons. Candidates must demonstrate exceptional knowledge of strategy, successful recruiting, strong leadership, social media expertise, video editing, recruiting experience and communication skills. Responsibilities include but not limited to coaching a position, recruiting, academic & spiritual growth of players, and coordinating social media efforts. $4500 stipend. No room, board or tuition. Clemson: Sources tell FootballScoop that Grayson HS (GA) head coach Mickey Conn has accepted a senior defensive quality control role on Dabo Swinney's staff.

Illinois: Sources tell FootballScoop that Northern Illinois wide receivers coach Thad Ward will be the new running backs coach at Illinois.

College of DuPage (JC - IL):College of DuPage has an open date on September 10th. DuPage is interested in a home and home series, and looking to travel this upcoming fall versus a JC, Prep or NAIA/D3 JV program. Willing to travel maximum of 500-600 miles.
