Millikin University: Jake Rourke has been named receivers coach at Millikin. Rourke spent the past two seasons coaching the receivers at Southwest Minnesota State. 

Alabama A&M: Defensive line coach Ben Blacknall has passed away. Several of his friends have reached out to us today to let us know. Very sad day for many. Please keep his friends and family in your thoughts. 

United States Coast Guard Academy (D-III - CT): The United States Coast Guard Academy is accepting applications for two (1 offense / 1 defense) interns for the 2012 season. These interns will coach their own position group and be responsible for all film breakdown and editing, opponent exchanges, and related activities. Additional recruiting duties will be assigned as well. The positions will each pay $7500.00 and the dates of employment will run from August 1st to December 15th. A bachelor’s degree is required and the applicants should have collegiate playing experience. Applicants should also possess strong computer skills and have some experience with digital editing systems, preferably Hudl. Weber State: Defensive coordinator Jody Sears has been named interim head coach. He will serve as interim for the 2012 season and he will continue as defensive coordinator as well. Prior to joining the Weber State staff a few months ago, Sears was a long time assistant under Paul Wulff at both Washington State and Eastern Washington. 

Weber State: Athletic director Jerry Bovee announced this morning via twitter that he will have a new coach in place shortly.

Christopher Newport University (D-III - VA): Christopher Newport University is seeking applications for two football defensive assistant coaching positions. These positions are 6 month positions from July 31, 2012- December 31, 2012. These individual will report directly to the head coach. In addition to on the field coaching, duties include but are not limited to, recruiting, scheduling, travel, budget, monitoring of academic progress and other duties as deemed necessary that may be assigned. These are part time positions which do not include benefits. Bachelor’s degree and a valid Drivers License required. Prior successful coaching and or playing experience at the high school or college level is preferred. The Citadel (FCS - Charleston, SC): The Citadel is seeking applicants for the position of Video Coordinator. This position consists of a $10,000 salary, meals and a Master’s Degree in Health Exercise Sports Studies. As the Video Coordinator you will be expected to manage a film department that will be responsible for the filming of games, practices and producing weekly specialized videos. This individual should have knowledge of the XOS Thunder film editing program and DragonFly film delivery program.
