Univ. of San Diego: We expect Dale Lindsey to wind up being named defensive coordinator at USD. Lindsey served as defensive coordinator at New Mexico State this past season; but has coached for both the Chargers and USD (in 2007) and still maintains a home nearby.
UAB: We have learned that Tennessee State corners / special teams coordinator Anthony Blevins will be joining the UAB staff.
New Mexico: We have learned that Sam Houston State offensive line coach Derek Warehime will also be joining Bob Davie's staff. Warehime, too, will stay with Sam Houston through their national championship game. We expect Warehime to coach the tight ends.
Kenyon College (DIII - OH): Lycoming College offensive coordinator Chris Monfiletto is the new head coach at Kenyon College. Monfiletto also served as the director of athletics at Lycoming.
Tulane: We have learned that the Tulane defensive staff now has two members. University of San Diego defensive coordinator Jon Sumrall will join as defensive line coach. Lionel Washington already has a spot on the staff although at this time we are not certain what his title will be.
Columbia: Pete Mangurian has named a good part of his staff. As we've previously told you, Ben McDaniels will serve as offensive coordinator / quarterbacks and Kevin Lempa will serve as defensive coordinator / secondary. Lempa was the DC at Central Connecticut State last season. Ed Argast will remain as offensive line coach and Aaron Smith will remain as wide receivers coach. Alvin Smith will coach the defensive line. Smith was a grad assistant at Arizona State last season. Chad Nice will coach the running backs. Nice comes from the Merchant Marine Academy. Gordie Sammis will coach the tight ends. Sammis was a grad assistant at UVA.
Florida State: Jimbo Fisher has been agreed to a one year extension (now under contract through 2016). FSU says there were no financial changes made to his agreement.
UMass: Look for Purdue linebackers coach Phil Elmassian to be named defensive coordinator at UMass.
North Carolina: Longtime UNC assistant Kenny Browning was officially released today after 18 seasons in Chapel Hill. Browning has spent the last 40 years coaching at two high schools in North Carolina and at UNC.
Fordham (FCS): We have confirmed that Bryant University (FCS - RI) offensive line coach Joel Rodriquez has been hired as offensive line coach.

New Mexico: We have now confirmed Bob DeBesse will serve as New Mexico's offensive coordinator. We understand that DeBesse will remain with Sam Houston through their FCS National Championship game on January 7th.
Pitt: We have learned that Wisconsin linebackers coach Dave Huxtable (2011 Linebackers Coach of the Year) will be joining Paul Chryst's staff at Pitt. Huxtable coached the linebackers at Wisconsin this season and served as the defensive coordinator at Central Florida prior to that.
Sacramento State: Sources tell us Southern Utah passing game coordinator / quarterbacks / wide receivers coach Paul Peterson will be named the new offensive coordinator at Sac State.
Jones JC (MS): We have been told to look for Southwest Mississippi CC offensive coordinator David Thornton to join the staff. Otherwise, we hear most of the rest of the staff is likely to remain intact.
Texas Tech: We told you this 9 days ago; but Texas Tech is now confirming that defensive coordinator Chad Glasgow is no longer part of the staff.
New Mexico: We have heard from multiple sources, but haven't confirmed, that Sam Houston State offensive coordinator Bob DeBesse will be joining Bob Davie's staff.
FAU: We have now confirmed that Montana State offensive coordinator / quarterbacks coach Brian Wright will assume the same role at FAU.
Akron: Terry Bowden's total contract is 5 years at just under $400,000 per. More details here.
Idaho: Sources tell us Mike Levenseller is a leading candidate for the Idaho offensive coordinator job.
Louisville: We hear Charlie Strong has an agreement with a current SEC assistant to become his new offensive coordinator. Further details to come...
