Maryland: Our sources tell us that if Maryland doesn't offer the job to Mike Leach, AD Kevin Anderson has plans to talk with a current offensive coordinator in the NFL.

Temple: We told you earlier in the week that Indiana State offensive line coach Mike Simmonds accepted the offensive line job at North Texas. We've have received a ton of emails about Justin Frye. Our sources tell us that Frye has decided to leave the North Texas staff to join the Temple staff with Steve Addazio.

West Alabama: We have learned that Henderson State wide receivers coach Coy Campbell has accepted the defensive backs job at West Alabama.

Central Methodist University (MO): We hear offensive coordinator / associate head coach Trevor Whiting has left the program.

Minnesota: Northern Illinois tight ends coach Brian Anderson accepted the offensive quality control job at Minnesota. Also, Truman State defensive line coach Nate Griffin has been hired as the defensive quality control.

Boise State: We hear former Colorado offensive coordinator Eric Keisau is interested in the wide receivers job at Boise State.

West Virginia: Running backs / slot receivers coach Chris Beatty and tight ends coach / co-special teams coordinator Dave McMichael will not return.

Mississippi State: AD Scott Stricklin stepped up and rewarded Dan Mullen with a new 4-year contract that will pay Mullen an average of $2.65 million per year. Mullen has a $1.4 million buyout.

Nebraska: We hear Bo Pelini has interest in Tulane linebackers coach Doug Colman for the linebackers job at Nebraska.

Avila University: We have just learned that MacMurray College offensive coordinator Justin Berna has accepted the offensive coordinator job at Avila University.

Ball State: We hear Elon offensive coordinator / quarterbacks coach Rich Skrosky, offensive line coach John Strollo, and wide receivers coach Keith Gaither have been hired at Ball State.

Indiana: FootballScoop has confirmed that Boise State wide receivers coach / assistant head coach Brent Pease has accepted the offensive coordinator position at Indiana.

Maryland: Multiple reports say Leach is currently interviewing at Maryland.

BYU: Chris Level, a reporter in Lubbock, is reporting the BYU offensive coordinator Robert Anae has resigned this morning. BYU has now confirmed the resignation.

Ursinus College (Collegeville, PA): Defensive Coordinator (Full-Time): The assistant football coach / defensive coordinator is responsible for all aspects of the defensive strategy, coaching the defensive backs, on and off campus recruitment, monitoring academic success of the student-athletes, game and practice preparation, video editing and film exchange, assist in developing the off season strength and conditioning program, and other general administrative duties as assigned by the head coach and Director of Athletics. The assistant coach / defensive coordinator will be evaluated based on the performance of the defense, overall student-athlete development, and for establishing a sport culture in which he is viewed by the student-athletes and his colleagues as a mentor, educator, and role model. The assistant coach / defensive coordinator will also be responsible for supporting the mission of Ursinus College as well as adherence to institutional, conference, and NCAA policies and procedures. Previous defensive coordinating experience in a 4-2-5 scheme at the college level preferred. Ursinus College is an AA/EO employer. Minnesota: Jay Sawvel will serve as the defensive backs coach / special teams coordinator. Adam Clark will serve as the recruiting coordinator.

UCLA: We hear Rick Neuheisel has interest in Stanford defensive coordinator Vic Fangio for the Bruins' defensive coordinator position.

UT-Martin: Our sources tell us that Lytrell Pollard has accepted the defensive coordinator job at UT-Martin. Pollard coached the corners in 2009 at University of Memphis.

Florida State: Our sources tell us director of football operations Andy Urbanic has decided to retire.

Green Bay Blizzard (IFL): Green Bay has hired former Bloomington Extreme (IFL) head coach Kenton Carr as offensive coordinator. Ian Harris has been hired as assistant director of operations.

Boise State: We hear director of football operations Viliami Tuivai has left the staff.

Ball State: We are hearing that wide receivers coach Joey Lynch will be retained.
