Kenyon College: Our sources tell us that Carleton College quarterbacks coach Carlin Shoemaker has accepted the offensive coordinator position at Kenyon College.
USC: Former Nebraska wide receivers coach / recruiting coordinator Ted Gilmore has accepted the wide receivers job at USC.
Hiram College: Hiram, Ohio invites applicants for a part-time assistant position . Duties include, but are not limited to, coaching a Defensive position(preferably defensive backs or linebackers), assisting with practice and game planning, film breakdown, leading position meetings, recruiting and any other duties assigned by the head coach. Previous coaching and/or playing experience required. Compensation for the position will be a stipend of about $2,500 for the season. This is a part-time position with NO meals or housing included, Northeast Ohio area applicants will be considered first. Presbyterian College: Our sources tell us Newberry College offensive coordinator Todd Varn will accept the offensive coordinator / offensive line job at Presbyterian College.
North Dakota State: Our sources tell us Northern Iowa defensive coordinator Chris Klieman has interviewed for the defensive backs job.
LSU: Offensive coordinator Steve Kragthorpe agreed to a 3-year deal worth $700,000 per year. Defensive line coach Brick Haley has received a raise from $340,000 to $380,000. Tight ends coach Steve Ensminger will go from $170,000 to $190,000. Offensive line coach Greg Studrawa will go from $230,000 to $275,000. Head strength coach Tommy Moffitt will add the title of assistant AD and go from $215,000 to $300,000.
UNLV: Oregon State offensive grad assistant / tight ends coach Robin Ross accepted the linebackers job at UNLV.
Michigan: Defensive coordinator Greg Mattison will make $750,000 annually. Offensive coordinator / quarterbacks coach Al Borges will make $350,000. Wide receivers coach Jeff Hecklinski will earn $225,000 and the other assistant will each earn $200,000.
NC A&T: We have learned the former Gardner-Webb offensive coordinator Joe Pizzo has now accepted the same position at NC A&T.
Illinois: We are hearing that Ron Zook has hired former Carolina Panthers defensive backs coach Mike Gillhamer as defensive backs coach.
University of Redlands: Former Hamline University head coach Jim Good is the new offensive coordinator / recruiting coordinator at the University of Redlands.
Louisville: Charlie Strong says defensive line coach Clint Hurtt will remain with the Cardinals despite interviewing with Auburn.
Nebraska-Omaha: Winona State co-defensive coordinator / linebackers coach Jason Petrino accepted the defensive backs job at Nebraska-Omaha.
Florida: We have learned that Akron offensive grad assistant Jeff Blasko has joined the Florida staff as the offensive grad assistant.
Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College: Restricted earning assistant position available (wide receivers). 10-month contract, room and board included. Responsibilities include: Position coach, Assisting the Head Football Coach in all aspects of an intercollegiate football program, including recruitment of qualified student-athletes, organizing and conducting practices, maintenance, film analysis and break down using DSV software. Dorm management and operations oversight. Summer football camp instructor. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications:Bachelor's degree required. Strong organizational skills; ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with diverse constituencies; an understanding of intercollegiate athletics in an academic environment; and commitment to education. Samford University: We have learned that former Philadelphia Eagles defensive line coach Rory Segrest has accepted the defensive line job at Samford. Our sources tell us that Ross Newton will shift from defensive line to linebackers.
Western Kentucky: We have now learned that Zach Azzanni will serve as the offensive coordinator / wide receivers coach at Western Kentucky.
Bemidji State University (MN): is currently seeking 3 graduate assistant football coaches for LB/DL, RB’s & WR’s. Applicants must have a 3.0 minimum undergraduate GPA to apply, no exceptions. Western Kentucky: Our sources tell us the former Florida wide receivers coach Zach Azzanni will accept the wide receivers job at Western Kentucky. We hear Willie Taggart may shift some roles on the offensive side of the ball. Earlier in the week, we heard Taggart may coach the quarterbacks.
Savannah State: We are hearing that defensive line coach Corey McCloud will be leaving the staff to accept a position in the NFL.
