Cleveland Browns: The Cleveland Plain Dealer is reporting that Brad Childress is expected to be named offensive coordinator of the Browns within days. 

Miami Dolphins: Multiple outlets now reporting that Mike Sherman is expected to be named offensive coordinator and Kevin Coyle (Cincinnati Bengals' defensive backs coach) is expected to be named defensive coordinator tomorrow. 

Iowa State: Sources tell us that West Texas A&M assistant secondary coach Mike Conrad has accepted a defensive grad assistant job at Iowa State. 

Memphis: We have learned that Justin Fuente will complete his staff by hiring Tim Billings. Billings served on staff at Wake Forest last season as the co-defensive coordinator / outside linebackers coach. A very versatile coach, Billings was the 2008 FootballScoop Defensive Backs Coach of the Year. 

New Hampshire (FCS): We have learned that receivers coach Ryan Carty will be promoted to offensive coordinator.

Coastal Carolina: Joe Moglia has announced Dave Patenaude will coach the quarterbacks and serve as offensive coordinator. Patenaude spent the past two seasons at Georgetown as the offensive coordinator.

Culver-Stockton (NAIA - MO): Culver is looking to fill a restricted earnings position. The position will include coaching a position (most likely TE’s/FB’s), recruiting, video editing, film breakdown, and other duties as assigned by the head football coach. Room and board will be provided and a small stipend depending on experience level. The position will begin as soon as possible. Bachelors degree required. Rutgers: Assistant head coach / offensive line Kyle Flood has been named interim head coach. 

FIU: We have learned that FIU has hired New Hampshire offensive coordinator / quarterbacks Tim Cramsey. Look for an announcement next week. 

Washington State: Salaries...Leach - $2.25 million. DC Mike Breske - $325,000. Asst head coach / special teams Eric Russell - $225,000. Linebackers Jeff Choate - $210,000. Offensive line Clay McGuire and running backs Jim Mastro will each make $200,000. Defensive line Joe Salave'a - $175,000. Dennis Simmons outside receivers - $160,000, outside linebackers Paul Volero - $165,000 and inside receivers Eric Morris - $150,000. Chief of staff Dave Emerick - $150,000 and director of football operations Antonio Huffman - $80,000. 

Tennessee: We are hearing that Dooley has offered the special teams position to Charlie Coiner; although a source close to the program tells us it's not official yet...possibly indicating background checks are not complete. Coiner last coached at UNC in 2010. We'll keep you posted. 

Simon Fraser University (D-II): Simon Fraser is seeking applicants for offensive coordinator. This full-time (12-month) position will report to the Head Football Coach and will be responsible for assisting in all aspects of the University’s intercollegiate football program. The selected individual will oversee the structure of the offensive unit, coordinate two Special Teams, coach a position group, and serve as an offensive coordinator. The selected individual will oversee and mentor assistant coaches, assist with all aspects of game and practice preparations, evaluate personnel as well as mentor and monitor the student-athletes progress on and off-the-field. A strong emphasis on NCAA compliance procedures and a personal commitment to following the rules and guidelines set forth by the NCAA Division II, the GNAC, and Simon Fraser University. Candidate must have knowledge of NCAA recruiting regulations. Required: BA/BS degree, 10+ years of college coaching experience. Candidate must have experience coordinating an Offense and Special Teams at the college level, and experience with no-huddle concepts. The selected individual will be held accountable in the recruitment, and retention, of outstanding student athletes. West coast recruiting experience is essential (High School and Junior College), and a history with the organization of both individual skill development camps, and summer team camps. A desire to play a large role in the building of a Championship Football program is also required. Atlanta Falcons: We've been told that Joe Danna, assistant secondary coach for the Dolphins, will join the Falcons staff. We haven't confirmed yet. 

Oregon: Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk said this morning on the radio that Oregon had already promoted offensive coordinator Mike Helfrich when Chip Kelly had accepted the Tampa job...and then Kelly "changed his mind". We had heard that AD Rob Mullens had reached out to Chris Petersen first...but it's moot now. 

Navy: BYU grad assistant Shaun Nua has accepted a job with Navy, assisting with the defensive line. 

Tampa Bay: The deal is done. Schiano is the new head coach of the Bucs. 

Chicago Bears: ESPN is reporting that New England director of pro personnel Jason Licht will interview today for a second time for the GM position. 

Miami Dolphins: Schefter is reporting that Mike Sherman is meeting with Joe Philbin today in Miami about joining as offensive coordinator. 

Ohio State: We have confirmed that Bill Sheridan will be added to Urban's staff. Sheridan was the linebackers coach with the Dolphins the past two years and was the defensive coordinator with the Giants before that. 

Tampa / Rutgers: Jason La Canfora of the NFL Network is reporting that Greg Schiano has a shot at the Bucs' head job. Update> Adam Schefter just tweeted that Tampa plans to hire Schiano...and they are working out the details of the contract now. 

Northeast Mississippi CC: Sources tell us that Northeast offensive line coach Brad Boyette has accepted the head coaching position at Horn Lake High School (MS). 

Dordt College (NAIA - IA): Dordt College is seeking applicants for defensive coordinator / strength & conditioning coach / instructor. This is a full-time position which includes serving as the strength & conditioning coach for all sports. Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree and 3 or more years of coaching. In addition to coaching responsibilities, this position will likely include other teaching and / or administrative duties. Employment is set to begin in March of 2012.
