Memphis: We have learned that Arkansas Pine Bluff offensive coordinator Jerry Mack has accepted the wide receivers job at Memphis.
Old Dominion: Christopher Newport University defensive line / linebackers coach Bill Dee has accepted the assistant offensive line job at Old Dominion.
Mississippi State: Here are the new salaries: Defensive coordinator / defensive line coach Chris Wilson goes from $240,000 to $300,000. Offensive line / run game coordinator John Hevesy goes from $245,000 to $275,000. Offensive coordinator Les Koenning goes from $260,000 to $275,000. Corners coach Melvin Smith goes from $210,000 to $225,000. Running backs coach Greg Knox goes from $200,000 to $220,000. Safeties coach Tony Hughes goes from $185,000 to $205,000. Tight ends coach Scott Sallach goes from $130,000 to $135,000. Wide receivers coach Angelo Mirando will earn $75,000.

Seton Hill University: (Defensive coordinator) Athletic Department, a NCAA Division II (WVIAC) member, has a full-time opening for assistant football coach, defense. The purpose of this position is to recruit, coach, and retain full roster team. A bachelor’s degree is required, master’s preferred. Two years prior college coaching experience required. Excellent computer skills are necessary. The incumbent must be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing, as well as represent the University in a professional manner. This position reports directly to the Head Football Coach and Executive Director of Athletics; in his absence the Associate Director(s) of Athletics. Essential responsibilities include, but are not limited to: recruit and coach football team; coordinate the defense and coach a defensive position; assist in overseeing the budget for equipment, travel, officials, recruiting and other approved expenses of the football program; follow all NCAA, WVIAC, and Institution guidelines; have full understanding of the NCAA eligibility compliances; assist in off season workouts; assist in monitoring and supporting student athlete academics; assist in maintaining and setting policies for student athletes; other duties as assigned. FIU: Our sources tell us offensive grad assistant Dennis Smith will now serve as player personnel / quality control. Also, we hear that Andrew Green will now serve as the director of football operations. Green previously served as the assistant to the head coach.
University of Charleston (WV): There is a report that Charleston offered the job initially to former Marshall head coach Bob Pruett.
Wake Forest: We are hearing that former player Chris Barclay will now serve as the defensive grad assistant.
CoachComm: Regional Sales Manager (primary markets: Louisiana, Mississippi, Arkansas, Tennessee and Kentucky) will have responsibilities of handling high school and collegiate customer base with focus on selling CoachComm’s Headset, Video, and Software solutions. Ideal Candidate will have network of connections in coaching and athletic administration @ both the high school and collegiate level. Nebraska: Tim Beck, who was promoted to offensive coordinator / quarterbacks coach, will receive a salary raise from $220,000 to $345,000. Special teams coordinator / defensive line coach John Papuchis will go from $175,000 to $200,000. Here are the salaries for the new assistants: defensive backs coach Corey Raymond ($200,000), linebackers coach Ross Els ($170,000), wide receivers coach Rich Fisher ($170,000), and tight ends / assistant offensive line coach John Garrison ($140,000). Barney Cotton and Ron Brown will remain at $220,000 annually. Defensive coordinator Carl Pelini will no longer work with the defensive line at practice. Pelini will spend time with all three groups...the defensive backs, linebackers, and defensive line.
Marshall: Our sources tell us that University of Georgia defensive grad assistant Todd Hartley has accepted the defensive backs job at Marshall.
Wake Forest: West Virginia outside receivers coach Lonnie Galloway has indeed accepted the wide receivers job at Wake Forest. We hear Brian Knorr will shift from wide receivers to a position on the defensive side at Wake.
University of Charleston (WV): Our sources tell us that wide receivers coach Tate Gregory and running backs coach Steve Shuster will be retained on the offensive side. We hear Pat Kirkland will be bringing in a new defensive coordinator.
