New England Patriots: The Patriots announced a number of moves today. Matt Patricia has been named defensive coordinator, Josh Boyer will coach the corners, Brian Flores will coach the safeties, Patrick Graham defensive line and Pepper Johnson linebackers. On offense, George Godsey will coach the tight ends. Joe Judge has been named assistant special teams and Steve Belichick has been named a coaching assistant. 

Colby College (D-III - ME): Colby College, a highly selective liberal arts school and member of the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) is seeking highly motivated individuals for two Assistant Coaching positions within the football program. One position on offense, one position on defense. Qualifications would include a Bachelor’s degree with experience coaching young men with great character and leadership ability both on and off the football field at the NCAA level. Strong communication skills and ability to recruit high academic and quality student-athletes is a must. Experience with DVSport digital editing system is a plus. Prospective applicant’s responsibilities would include administrative duties in game week organization and preparation, film breakdown, opponent scout, and creating tendency reports. Charleston Southern: Head coach Jay Mills has announced the addition of Byron Hardmon as the new defensive line coach. Hardmon spent the past three seasons with Illinois where he coached the defensive line coach and outside linebackers during that span. Hardmon takes over for RaShan Frost who recently accepted the head coaching position at North Charleston HS (SC).

Hamilton College (D-III - NY): Head coach Steve Stetson has announced that he is stepping down to lead the college's golf program. Director of athletics Jon Hind says a national search for a successor will begin immediately. Offensive line coach Matt Wright will head the program until a new coach is hired.

Western Kentucky: Senior associate athletic director Todd Stewart has been promoted to athletic director. 

Occidental (D-III - Los Angeles, CA): Head coach Dale Widolff has been released. We hear they plan a "national search". Offensive coordinator Eric Bergstrom has been named interim. 

Oklahoma State: Sources close to the program tell us that Rod Johnson has been promoted to assistant director of football operations and that Steve Hauser has been hired in an administrative capacity within the program.

Scouting Services: The NCAA has asked us to remind everyone that beginning in 3 weeks, Division I member institutions will only be able to subscribe to NCAA approved scouting services. In order to be approved, the scouting service must apply by May 31st. Click here to read more

Pikeville (NAIA - KY): Sources tell us that former Eastern Kentucky Drillers (Arena) defensive coordinator Jimmy Brookins has been hired as linebackers coach at Pikeville.
