Western Connecticut State (D-III): We have learned that Otterbein (D-III - OH) head coach Joe Loth will be named head coach at Western Connecticut State. 

SMU: Athletic director Steve Orsini has been "dismissed effective immeidately". 

Curry College (D-III - MA): Head coach Skip Bandini has made some hires and is still looking to fill one slot (special teams). Rob Davenport, formerly of Mass Maritime, has been hired as defensive coordinator / director of operations. Bobby Driscoll has been hired to coach the defensive backs and James Fucillo & Myles Hayes have been hired as interns. The open special teams position is stipend only. Baltimore Ravens: Director of player personnel Eric DeCosta has been promoted to assistant general manager.

NFL / NCAA Coaching Academy: We have learned some of the participants include; Desmond Lindsey (assistant head coach / receivers coach - West Alabama), Roosevelt Williams (defensive backs - Southewest Baptist), Garry Fisher (linebackers - Eastern Kentucky), R. Todd Littlejohn (assistant head coach / receivers coach - New Mexico State), Jesse Minter (defensive coordinator - Indiana State), Thomas Howard (co-defensive coordinator / linebackers coach - University of Findlay). Juniata College (D-III - PA): Juniata College is seeking qualified applicants for an defensive intern level position as Assistant Football Coach. Prospective applicant's responsibilities would include administrative duties in game week organization and preparation, film breakdown, opponent scout, and creating tendency reports. Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree, a valid driver's license, and playing experience at the collegiate level. Preference will be given to applicants with experience coaching or playing defensive back. Experience with Hudl / DSV digital editing system is a plus. This position has a starting date of August 1, 2012. Compensation includes stipend, benefits, room, and board. Baldwin Wallace (D-III - OH): Located in Berea, Ohio, ten minutes west of Cleveland, is seeking a highly motivated individual for the position of Intern Assistant Football Coach. Duties include video editing / breakdown, recruiting, and any other responsibilities assigned by the head coach. If the individual proves himself in an off the field capacity, on the field coaching duties will be added. The position includes a stipend. New Mexico: We hear University of Minnesota assistant recruiting coordinator Josh Sternquist has accepted the director of recruiting position at New Mexico.

Lindsey Wilson College (NAIA - KY): Lindsey Wilson College is accepting applications for a full-time assistant football coach on defense. The position will likely be responsible for coaching linebackers in a 3-4 scheme, and could also have special teams coordinator responsibilities for the right candidate. Preference will be given to candidates with previous collegiate coaching experience. This is a 12 month position with benefits. Successful candidates must have a valid driver's license and complete a background check. The position will begin in early June. Albright College (D-III - PA): Albright, located in Reading, PA, and a member of the highly competitive Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC), is seeking a highly motivated individual for the position of Intern Assistant Football Coach for defense: Assistant LB Coach/Assistant Video Coordinator/Assistant Recruiting Coordinator/Assistant Director of Football Operations. Qualifications: Bachelors degree required with successful football playing and/or coaching experience, strong professional/interpersonal communication skills and organizational efficiency. The candidate must have outstanding character and leadership qualities. The successful applicant should also possess strong computer skills and a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power-point, and Access software. Experience with Hudl digital video editing system is a plus. Coachingduties: Assist LB Coach: plan, organize, and instruct LB positional meetings and drills; contribute to defensive game plan; recruit your own territory and attract top quality student-athletes to attend Albright College. Administrative duties: game week organizational tasks including: film breakdown, opponent scouting, self-scouting, tendency reports, video cut-ups, scouting reports, assist S&C coach with weight room, assist Video Coordinator with digital editing system, oversee and counsel players on academic and social issues, and other duties as assigned by the Head Football Coach. Assist Recruiting Coordinator and Director of Football Operations with assigned duties. Compensation: includes a $3,300 annual stipend paid over a 10 month contract, free off-campus housing, free utilities and free meal plan in campus dining hall. Tuition waiver for Masters in Education Program is also included. No health insurance or retirement benefits are included with this position.
