Southwest Minnesota State University: (Division II) is looking for a FOOTBALL Graduate Assistant; Defensive Back experience preferred. Responsibilities include assisting Head Coach in all phases of the football program. Coaching duties include assisting with practices, games, recruiting, camps, equipment, video and all aspects of the program. Qualifications include acceptance into graduate school (3.0 minimum GPA), enrolling in a minimum of six credits per semester, and candidate must meet the MnSCU vehicle driving qualifications. The stipend is $8,000 plus tuition waiver. Candidate review begins immediately and continues until filled. Saskatchewan Roughriders: Defensive assistant Gary Etcheverry has resigned.

Tulane: We have learned that former ULL head coach Rickey Bustle has accepted the quarterbacks job at Tulane.

Dordt College: Christian liberal arts college located in Sioux Center, Iowa, and member of the Great Plains Athletic Conference, is seeking a Graduate Assistant Wide Receiver coach. The position begins on Jully 11th. Qualified candidates must have an undergraduate degree in Education, and be admitted into the graduate program by June 13th. Compensation includes: stipend, housing, some meals, and tuition towards a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership. Post University: located in Waterbury, Ct invites applicants for a Volunteer Assistant Sprint Football Coach. This position will assist the head coach with all phases of the football program, including coaching a position, recruiting student athletes, monitoring the academic progress of student athletes, and other duties as assigned. There is no salary or college benefits with this position. Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree, relevant football playing or coaching experience and a commitment to the welfare and development of student-athletes within the philosophy of a small, private, collegiate setting. University of Wisconsin-Whitewater: Our sources tell us that Wisconsin-Whitewater quarterbacks coach Josh Gehring has added the title of recruiting coordinator.

Millikin University: (Interns for RB, DB, LB, DL) located in Decatur, Illinois, invites applicants for an Assistant Football Coaching Intern. This is a ten-month position and will assist the head coach with all phases of the football program, including coaching a position, recruiting student athletes, video editing, monitoring the academic progress of student athletes, and other duties as assigned. The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to work with the Athletic Director to gain a thorough understanding of the role of athletics at a small, private, comprehensive university. Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree, relevant football playing or coaching experience and a commitment to the welfare and development of student-athletes within the philosophy of NCAA Division III and there is the possibility of pursuing a graduate degree at local university.
