Maryland: Ralph Friedgen says he plans to coach multiple more years at Maryland. Friedgen's current contract ends at the end of 2011. If coach-in-waiting James Franklin isn't named head coach by 2012, Maryland owes Franklin a total of $1 million. 

South Carolina: If South Carolina wins at Florida on Saturday, the Gamecocks will win the SEC East. If that happens, Spurrier will receive $100,000.

Auburn: Gene Chizik earned an extra $75,000 for notching Auburn's tenth win of the season. If the Tigers defeat UGA this weekend, that figure will rise to $100,000.

Air Force: Troy Calhoun, with the Commander-in-Chief trophy wrapped up, will receive an extra $36,250 this year. With Air Force clinching a bowl bid as well, Calhoun will receive an additional $72,500.

UCF: Head coach George O'Leary has cashed in the last two weeks. For notching his sixth win of the season, O'Leary (per his contract) earned an extra $50,000. When UCF defeated Houston last week for the team's seventh win, O'Leary made another $50,000. When UCF entered the AP Top 25, O'Leary earned another $50,000. That's a quick $100,000.

Boise State: Boise State's eighth win of the season triggered a 1-year contract extension, as part of his contract, for head coach Chris Petersen. Petersen will earn $1.49 million in 2015. 

Edmonton Eskimos: We are hearing that head coach Richie Hall will be relieved of his duties today. Our sources tell us that Winnipeg defensive coordinator Kavis Reed will be a strong candidate to fill the Edmonton head coaching job.

Holmes Community College (MS): We are hearing that Murray State defensive coordinator Ashley Anders is a candidate for the head coaching job at Holmes CC.

Minnesota: Our sources tell us the San Diego State head coach Brady Hoke has not been contacted and is not looking to leave San Diego State.
