Vanderbilt: Player development assistant Vavae Tata has been named the head coach at Kahuku High School in Hawaii according to the Honolulu Star-Advertiser.

Wisconsin-Platteville (D-III): Former University of Dubuque (D-III - IA) defensive coordinator / recruiting coordinator Mike Schmidt has joined the staff as defensive coordinator / linebackers coach, per source.

Minnesota Vikings: Bacone College (NAIA - OK) wide receivers coach Jeremy Richardson has accepted an internship with the Vikings as part of the Bill Walsh Minority Coaching Fellowship program.

Webber International (NAIA - FL): Webber International University is looking for games for the 2016-17 football seasons. Open dates in 2016 are Aug 27th, Sept 3rd, Sept 10th, Sept 24th, and Oct 1st with corresponding dates in 2017. We are looking for home and home games against NAIA opponents. Wisconsin Lutheran (D-III): Per source, Whitnall HS (WI) offensive coordinator Dave Archibald has accepted a position on the Wisconsin Lutheran staff.

Liberty (FCS): Per source, pending final clearance, Youngstown State (FCS - OH) running backs coach / assistant head coach Ron Brown will be joining the staff and coaching the receivers.

Richmond (FCS - VA): David Rocco, who spent the last three seasons as an offensive intern and quality control assistant, has been promoted to director of player personnel.

Monterey Peninsula College (CC - CA): Monterey Peninsula College has an opening for a defensive line coach. Minimum requirements are a Bachelors degree, and two years of college coaching experience. Duties include coaching, video operation, strength program, and recruiting. Stipend is $10,000 for coaching. There is an oppurtunity to earn an additional $5,000 to $10,000 through program fund raising. Contact head coach Mike Rasmussen at mrasmussen@mpc.edu.

Southwest Minnesota State (D-II): Southwest Minnesota State is looking for an offensive graduate assistant (tight ends). Qualifications include acceptance into graduate school (3.0 minimum GPA), enrolled in a minimum of six credits per semester, and meet the MnSCU vehicle driving qualifications. Compensation package includes $8,000 and Full-Tuition waiver. Review of candidates will begin immediately and continue until filled. Kentucky: We have learned that offensive grad assistant Josh Pruitt has been promoted to director of player development at Kentucky.

Northern Arizona (FCS): Northern Arizona is looking to hire an assistant football coach (corners). Previous Division 1 collegiate coaching experience is required. Interested candidates must apply through the NAU Human Resources website via this link.

University of Dubuque (D-III - IA): The University of Dubuque is seeking a full-time assistant coach to fill the role of defensive backs coach and/or defensive coordinator. Candidates must have their Bachelor’s degree, an understanding of the NCAA Division III rules and regulations, and ability to recruit Chicago and SE Wisconsin.
