Auburn: Offensive line coach J.B. Grimes underwent surgery to remove a cancerous spot on his tongue last week, and was present and accounted for as Auburn opened training camp on Tuesday.

Coastal Carolina: Coastal Carolina University is looking to immediately fill a senior recruiting intern position. In this position you will be directly involved in all day to day recruiting operations as well as assist the recruiting coordinator in all aspects of the recruiting program. ASA Miami (JC): Offensive coordinator Ernest T. Jones is being promoted to head coach we are told. Jones, the former running backs coach at UConn, previously worked at Notre Dame, Buffalo, Cincinnati, Alcorn State (as head coach), Central Michigan and other places.

Southwest Minnesota State (D-II): Southwest Minnesota State University is looking for an offensive graduate assistant (running backs / strength and conditioning). Qualifications include acceptance into graduate school (3.0 minimum GPA), enrolled in a minimum of six credits per semester, and meet the MnSCU vehicle driving qualifications. Dakota State (NAIA - SD): Dakota State University is looking for 1-2 unpaid interns for the Fall and/or Spring. The intern would gain credit towards internship hours and the mentorship would be as "hands on" as it could get. The intern would have the unique opportunity to become the "Head" coach for a team. A minimum of 20 hours per week will be required and up to 40 hours may be needed. The right candidate would have the desire to become a Head Strength and Conditioning Coach, love to learn, and train themselves. Cost of living is cheap. You can get an apartment in the area for $200 a month. This is a GREAT opportunity for someone looking to gain a lot of experience.
