26 openings (so far) - 2 remain open. FIU and Wisconsin are on the clock!

Duke linebackers coach Jim Collins' wife Geri has risen up to heaven. Please keep their family in your prayers.

Wisconsin: Earlier in the night, sources had told us Gary Andersen to Wisconsin was not happening...have just been told that this information was inaccurate. Awaiting complete confirmation... Update> Sources at Wisconsin confirming to us that Gary Andersen will be new head coach. Further Update> ESPN and Big Ten Network now both confirming Andersen will be next head coach of the Badgers.

FIU: Manny Diaz has removed himself from consideration for the job according to a report from Bruce Feldman.

Seton Hill (D-II - PA): We have learned that Widener (D-III - PA) head coach Isaac Collins will be the new head coach at Seton Hill.

Kentucky: Sources tell us Youngstown State linebackers coach Frank Buffano will join Mark Stoops staff as director of football operations.

UC Davis: Ron Gould's base salary is $235,000. Other compensation is involved. Will update with details once available.

Texas A&M Kingsville: Sources tell us David Calloway has released linebackers coach Kyle Ppool and offensive coordinator Clay Patterson.

Wisconsin:'s Pete Thamel is reporting that Utah State head coach Gary Andersen has interviewed at Wisconsin. Thamel reports that Barry Alvarez has also interviewed Bowling Green head coach Dave Clawson and Mel Tucker.

Western Michigan: P.J. Fleck's agreement is reportedly 5 years at $392, line with what Bill Cubit made. That salary (according to USA Today's database) is higher than the head coach at several other MAC programs makes (Bowling Green, Buffalo, Ball State, Toledo, Akron, Central Michigan & Eastern Michigan all make less).

Cleveland Browns: Cowboys general counsel Alec Scheiner has agreed to become President of the Browns.

Northwestern State (FCS - LA): Sources tell us Missouri Southern defensive coordinator (and former Northwestern State assistant head coach / defensive line) Jay Thomas has been offered the head job at Northwestern State.

Davidson (FCS - NC): We have learned that Paul Nichols will named head coach at Davidson. Paul, currently director player personnel at Illinois, is a former quaterback at Davidson and previously served as co-defensive coordinator for several years at Toledo.

Appalachian State: We hear that defensive line coach Jason Blalock will not be retained. We also hear that Dale Jones, who served as the defensive coordinator last season, will not serve as defensive coordinator next season, but has been offered a position on the staff.

Kentucky: Offensive coordinator Neal Brown said today that they will likely interview a few guys at the Convention to fill the final slot on offense. Chad Scott could coach either running backs or receivers so they are looking for best fit for the staff.

Colorado Mesa (D-II): Sources tell us that Herriman HS (UT) running backs coach Mike Humeniuk will join the staff in a volunteer capacity.

Idaho: Former Arkansas receivers coach Kris Cinkovich is heading to Idaho to serve as Paul Petrino's offensive coordinator / quarterbacks coach.

Jacksonville State (FCS - AL): The Mobile Press Register is reporting that South Alabama defensive coordinator Bill Clark will be named head coach at Jacksonville State today. We have confirmed.

Football Operations Update: Several DFOs are changing jobs. We've got an update on DFO Scoop and will continue to update that page. At Kentucky, Nolan Jones, 2012 Finalist for Director of Football Operations of the Year, has not been retained. Nolan would be a great addition to any staff in the country.

Marietta (D-III - OH): Sources tell us that Wittenberg defensive coordinator Andy Waddle will be the new head coach at Marietta College.

FIU: is reporting that Manny Diaz interviewed yesterday for the FIU head job.

Capital (D-III - OH): The Citadel quarterbacks coach Craig Candeto has been named head coach at Capital.

We are open to a home and away series for 2013-14 on corresponding dates. Open to play Division III, NAIA, or Division II opponent. Can possibly play on different dates if needed for the 2013 season. Please contact Head Coach Mike Emendorfer at 608.342.1801 or
