Bowling Green: Texas Tech running backs coach Mike Jinks has been announced as head coach. Jinks has served on Kliff Kingsbury's staff since 2013. Prior to that time, he was a high school coach in Texas for about the last ten years. Read more here.

South Carolina: Ellis Johnson will join Will Muschamp's staff in an unspecified role.

Rutgers: Chris Ash will have $2.75 million in his salary pool to hire assistant coaches.

Millikin (D-III - IL): Per source, Rhodes College (D-III - TN) head coach Dan Gritti will be the new head coach at Millikin.

South Dakota: Per source, among those interviewing for the vacant head coaching position are Eastern Michigan offensive coordinator / quarterbacks coach Kalen DeBoer and Western Illinois head coach Bob Nielson.

Toledo: Ohio Dominican (D-II) running backs coach Ricky Ciccone is joining Jason Candle's staff at Toledo.

Indianapolis (D-II - IN):The University of Indianapolis is looking for a home game on September 24, 2016. Interested programs can contact rbartolomeo@uindy.edu.

UW-Stevens Point (D-III): The University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point is looking for a home and home game for the 2018-19 football seasons. We have multiple openings during the first four weeks of each season (Sept. 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd in 2018 with corresponding weeks in 2019). South Carolina: The Gamecocks have formally announced Travaris Robinson as defensive coordinator/defensive backs coach and Bobby Bentley as running backs coach.

Lincoln Riley has won the Broyles Award.

Jacksonville: Ian Shields, who served as head coach at Lenoir-Rhyne (D-II - NC) last season, has now been announced as the new head coach.

Maryland: Former Syracuse head coach Scott Shafer is the new defensive coordinator on DJ Durkin's staff, per SI.

Troy: Assistant head coach / special teams coordinator Shayne Wasden has retired after coaching within the state of Alabama for 24 seasons, a dozen of those at Troy.

Kansas State: Asked about his plans to return next season at the College Football Hall of Fame news conference, Bill Snyder noted, "As of right now, I have no reason not to."

Tennessee: With tight ends / special teams coordinator Mark Elder leaving for Eastern Kentucky, the early feedback we're hearing is that Tennessee might look to bring in a coach to work full-time with the quarterbacks and shift other staff responsibilities. Will update as the search progresses.

Rocky Mountain College (NAIA - MT): Athletic director Bruce Parker says that they would like to have a new head coach in place by the first of the year. The opening was created when head coach Brian Armstrong left to become the offensive line coach for longtime friend Jeff Choate at Montana State.

Eastern Kentucky (FCS): Multiple local outlets are reporting that Tennessee specials teams coordinator / tight ends coach Mark Elder has been chosen as the program's new head coach. We can confirm. Update>> EKU has now announced the hire.

Minnesota: Tight ends coach Rob Reeves will serve as Minnesota's offensive coordinator for their bowl game against Central Michigan, and offensive graduate assistant Adam Weber will coach the quarterbacks. Also, offensive graduate assistant Trevor Olson and special teams quality control coach Jay Nunez will share the offensive line duties and Offensive quality control coach Nate Griffin will coach the tight ends. These changes were necessary after head coach Tracy Claeys let go OC / OL coach Matt Limegrover and QBs coach Jim Zebrowski at the end of November.

Wagner (FCS - NY): Wagner College is looking for a Division 2 opponent to schedule a game for Sept. 10 or Sept. 24 of 2016. Please contact DFO AJ Firestone at albert.firestone@wagner.edu if interested.

UVA-Wise (D-II): UVA-Wise will conduct initial interviews with their top head coaching candidates later this week.

Green Bay Blizzard (Arena): Chris Williams, who has extensive experience coaching at the Arena and Indoor levels, has been named head coach of the Blizzard.
