Jackson State (FCS - MS): Offensive line coach Tommy Poynter has left the staff, according to the Jackson Clarion-Ledger.

New Mexico: The Lobos have formally announced Al Simmons' hiring and Clay Davie's promotion to tight ends coach. Simmons will coach the Lobos' cornerbacks, which means defensive backs coach Charles McMillan will focus solely on the safeties in 2015.

McGill (Canada): Ronald Hilaire was named McGill's head coach on Tuesday. He was appointed an interim co-head coach along with Patrick Boies in October.

Louisiana-Lafayette: The Cajuns are expected to promote defensive backs coach Melvin Smith to defensive coordinator and hire two new defensive coaches, according to Tim Buckley of the Lafayette Advertiser.

Washington State: Washington State has hired Boise State grad assistant Joel Filani as its new offensive QC. Filani played wide receiver for Washington State head coach Mike Leach at Texas Tech.

Idaho State (FCS): Sheldon Cross has been promoted to offensive coordinator/quarterbacks coach.

Lock Haven (D-II - PA): Head coach John Allen has resigned.

Thomas More (D-III - KY): Thomas More has announced that Regis Scafe, the former longtime head coach at John Carroll (D-III - OH), is the program's new head coach.

Louisiana-Monroe: ULM has announced that Travis Niekamp (LBs / special teams coordinator) and Adam Waugh (safeties) have been promoted to co-defensive coordinator roles and Matt Clark (former Nicholls State OL coach) has joined the staff to coach the tight ends.

Cleveland Browns: The Browns have now formally announced the addition of Kevin O'Connell as quarterbacks coach.

Boise State: Bryan Harsin has announced a number of adjustments to his staff; tight ends coach Eliah Drinkwitz has been promoted to offensive coordinator / quarterbacks coach, special teams coordinator Kent Riddle will move from running backs coach the tight ends, and former Boise State running back Lee Marks will take over the running backs duties.

Ohio State: Per source, defensive grad assistant Jon Carpenter has accepted the head coaching job at Lima Shawnee HS (OH).

East Los Angeles (JC - CA): Former Occidental College (D-III - CA) running backs coach Craig Robbins has joined the staff at East Los Angeles and will work with the running backs as well as the tight ends / H-backs, per source.

Notre Dame: The Irish will hire North Carolina defensive line coach Keith Gilmore and South Florida running backs coach Autry Denson to the same posts, according to 247Sports. SI is reporting that outside linebackers coach Bob Elliott will move into an off the field role. We have heard the same.

Louisiana-Monroe: We understand that Todd Berry plans to handle his opening for a defensive coordinator from within the staff. Yesterday, it was reported that ULM defensive coordinator / corners coach Troy Reffrett accepted the corners job at Memphis.

UCF: Josh Linam, the linebackers coach at Huntingdon College (D-III - AL), has been hired as an offensive grad assistant. Linam played middle linebacker for the Golden Knights from 2008-2012.

Findlay (D-II - OH): In addition to defensive coordinator Jason Makrinos, the school has now announced Jake Zweig as defensive line coach.

Buffalo: As expected, Tim Edwards has now been announced as the new defensive line coach on Lance Leipold's staff.

Bemidji State (D-II - MN): Bemidji State University is currently seeking a defensive line graduate assistant football coach. Yearly benefits include a $8,500 stipend & 12 graduate credits/year tuition waiver. Candidates should fax resumes to 218-755-3898 ATTN Coach Brent Bolte.

Black Hills State (D-II - SD): Anthony Kerr has been hired as the new defensive coordinator. Kerr previously spent four seasons as the linebackers coach / special teams coordinator at Southwest Minnesota State (D-II).

Wisconsin-La Crosse (D-III): The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse is accepting applications for an offensive graduate assistant. Responsibilities will include coaching your own position group, managing a recruiting area, weekly teaching related duties and other duties assigned by the head coach. Playing and/or coaching experience with offensive skill positions is preferred. Bachelor’s degree in physical education and admission into UWL graduate program (minimum 2.85 GPA) is required. Stipend for graduate tuition included, any additional stipend will be available based off individual candidate’s experience.
