UMass: Sources tell us former Cincinnati (and WVU) assistant Dave Johnson will join the UMass staff as offensive line / run game coordinator. 

New Mexico State: Sources tell us Valdosta State's Derrick Elder will head to New Mexico State as a graduate assistant working with the offensive line. 

California Univ. of Pennsylvania (D-II): Former Fairmont State head coach Mike Lopez has been named the Vulcans' defensive coordinator.

South Florida: Marquel Blackwell will serve as director of player development, and Stu Holt has been promoted from director of player personnel to special teams coordinator. Paul Gonnella's title will be director of player personnel.

Arizona State: Jackie Shipp has now officially been announced as defensive line coach at Arizona State. Defensive coordinator Paul Randolph now moves to linebackers. Further, safeties coach Chris Ball has been promoted to co-defensive coordinator. 

Stony Brook (FCS): Defensive backs coach Lyle Hemphill has been promoted to defensive coordinator.

Bowling Green: Stony Brook (FCS) defensive coordinator Rob Neviaser has accepted a position at Bowling Green coaching the linebackers.

University of Ottawa: CFL coaching veteran Dr. Jamie Barresi has been named head coach. Barresi served as the run game coordinator for the Edmonton Eskimos last season.

Coffeyville CC (KS): Coffeyville Community College has a restricted earnings position open. Candidates should have playing or coaching experience with Defensive Backs. This is a 10 month position that requires R.A. duties. The posion includes housing, meals, benifits, and hourly pay. East Coast Prep (post grad): East Coast Prep, located in Great Barrington, Massachusetts, is seeking 2 assistant coaches for the 2013 season. You will coach your own position and have off field duties assigned by the head coach. Compensation includes room and board as well as a stipend. Western Michigan: Bill Kenney has joined the staff as offensive line coach. Kenney was a longtime assistant at Penn State, most recently coaching the tight ends and tackles in 2011.

Onondaga CC (NY): Sources tell us that former St. John Fisher College (D-III - NY) assistant coach John Evans has been named head coach. Evans most recently coached at Geneva HS (NY).

Louisburg College (CC - NC): Louisburg College, a small, private, Christian school located 30 minutes NE of Raleigh, NC has an opening for assistant coach, position to be announced. Louisburg is a member of the NJCAA and Northeast Football Conference. This opportunity is a 10 month contract beginning in August and offers on campus housing, meals and a $5,000 stipend. The Citadel (FCS - SC): The Citadel is seeking applicants for the position of Video Coordinator. This position consists of a $10,000 salary, meals and a Master’s Degree in Health Exercise Sports Studies. As the Video Coordinator you will be expected to manage a film department that will be responsible for the filming of games, practices and producing weekly specialized videos. Nevada: The Reno Gazette-Journal reports that Brian Polian's staff will earn $150,000 more than last season's staff.
