East Carolina: Dave Nichol will be promoted to offensive coordinator according to Stephen Igoe of 247. Nichol, along with Donnie Kirkpatrick, was a finalist for the FootballScoop Wide Receivers Coach of the Year award this fall.

Austin College (D-III - TX): Austin College is currently accepting applications for Assistant Football Coach (Defensive Backs / Recruiting Coordinator) the position includes Housing, Salary (mid 20’s), and Medical Benefits. The position will include coaching a position, recruiting, teaching, and game day administration. A Bachelor’s degree is required. Buffalo Bills: Jets defensive line coach Karl Dunbar is expected to join Rex Ryan in Buffalo according to Darryl Slater of the Newark Star-Ledger.

Virginia: Mike London has announced the addition of Dave Borbely as offensive line coach and Chris Beatty as running backs coach.

LSU: LSU has made the hiring of Kevin Steele and Ed Orgeron official.

San Francisco 49ers: The Niners are set to promote defensive line coach Jim Tomsula to head coach according to Adam Schefter.

Pittsburgh: Former Illinois assistant Tim Salem has been offered and is expected to accept the tight ends job at Pittsburgh.

Arkansas: Running backs coach Joel Thomas has signed a contract extension.

Southeast Missouri State (FCS): Per source, Minnesota defensive QC Melvin Rice has been hired as the corners coach at Southeast Missouri.

Iowa: Kirk Ferentz said at a press conference Wednesday there will be no coaching changes for Iowa, though staff responsibilities could be shuffled around.

Florida A&M (FCS): Per source, former Savannah State head coach Theo Lemon is the defensive coordinator at Florida A&M. Additionally, former NFL assistant Richard Solomon is the new secondary coach at FAMU.

Pittsburgh: Akron offensive line coach John Peterson is leaving to take a similar post at Pittsburgh.

Air Force: The academy has announced a new five-year contract for head coach Troy Calhoun.

Michigan: Michigan has made the hiring of secondary coach Greg Jackson official.

Kansas: TCU cornerbacks coach Kenny Perry will join David Beaty's staff as co-defensive coordinator and cornerbacks coach according to JayhawkSlant.

Muhlenberg College (D-III - PA): Muhlenberg College invites applicants for an immediate opening of Assistant Football Coach (Offensive Coordinator and Offensive Line Coach) - The Assistant Football Coach position is a full-time, year-round position which will include additional administrative and/ or teaching responsibilities. William Jewell College (D-II - MO): Head coach Jerod Kruse has resigned, and assistant head coach/offensive coordinator Shawn Weigel has been promoted to head coach. There are no position openings at this time.

Dakota State (NAIA - SD):Dakota State University, located in Madison, SD is an NAIA program in the North Star Conference looking for a game for September 26, 2015 and a corresponding week in 2016 for a home and home series. B.C. Lions (CFL): Quinn Tedford, son of head coach Jeff Tedford, will be an offensive QC with the B.C. Lions per Greg Auman of the Tampa Bay Times.

Colorado School of Mines (D-II): Per source, Mississippi State linebackers GA John Haneline is going to Colorado Mines as linebackers coach.

Dixie State (D-II - UT): Dixie State has hired Will Harris, who previously coached the secondary at Humboldt State, to coach the defensive backs.

Ohio State: The Buckeyes have formally announced the promotion of Ed Warinner to offensive coordinator and the hiring of Tim Beck as co-offensive coordinator/quarterbacks coach.

James Madison (FCS - VA): Per source, Mississippi State quality control assistant Brett Elliott is set to join the James Madison staff as co-offensive coordinator/quarterbacks coach.

Auburn: Alabama outside linebackers coach Lance Thompson has accepted a job on Will Muschamp's defensive staff at Auburn.

Washington Redskins: The Redskins plan on hiring Chargers linebackers coach Joe Barry as their defensive coordinator according to Ian Rapoport.

LSU: Per multiple sources, Ed Orgeron is expected to accept a position on LSU's staff later today. Sources tell FootballScoop that Brick Haley is being offered a non-coaching position with the staff at LSU; but he has other things to consider as well. Will update once a decision is made... Update: LSU has announced the Orgeron hire.

Independence Community College (KS): Assistant Coaching Position open: QB and Wide Receivers. This is a 12 month position with benefits. Email resume with reference to Steve Carson at scarson@indycc.edu.

Nicholls State (FCS - LA):  Per source, Tim Rebowe has hired Rummel (LA) assistant coach Lee Roussell as offensive line coach and former West Jeff (LA) head coach Marcus Scott as defensive backs coach.

Pima Community College (AZ): Christian Vitale has accepted the special teams job at Pima CC.

Illinois College (D-III - IL): Illinois College, a private co-ed liberal arts college in Jacksonville, Illinois, is seeking applications for the full-time position of Assistant Football Coach (Offensive Line). The coach is responsible for assisting the Head Coach in recruiting, training, and coaching members of the Football Team. The coach must also possess strong organizational and interpersonal skills, communicate effectively, have the ability to multi-task and operate within an extremely motivated, team atmosphere. Ellsworth Community College (IA): Ellsworth Community College is looking to fill two coaching positions DL and DB / Strength and Conditioning Coach. The compensation would be room in dorm, meals, and $5,000 stipend. These are 10 month positions. There’s also a summer camp check in July. Looking for experience with coaching/playing Defensive Back and Defensive Line, Strength and Conditioning, and Recruiting. Job will include other duties assigned. Cologne Falcons (Europe): The Cologne Falcons are an American Football team in Germany. We are playing in the German Football League what is one of the most competitive Leagues in Europe. Mebasi Range College (JC - MN): Mesabi Range College,an NJCAA member in the MCAC in northeastern Minnesota has offensive & defensive positions available combined with a Residential Life/Housing Director position. The Residential Life/Housing Director is responsible for the operation and management of all aspects of the campus apartments at Mesabi Range College. The other primary responsibility includes working closely with the College’s student life committee and implementing student life programming and purchases.
