ESPN: The worldwide leader has reportedly inked Kirk Herbstreit to a deal that locks him up through 2022. Herbie, who had been mulling a generous offer from FootballScoop.com reportedly thought to himself, "My heart says the Scoop; but my wallet thinks College GameDay." Can't blame the man. 

William Paterson University (D-III - NJ): Sources tell us former Jersey Coast Academy offensive coordinator Terry Owens has accepted the receivers job at William Paterson. 

St. Thomas (D-II - MN): Sources tell us that University of St. Thomas has a part-time opening for a defensive backs coach. 

Angelo Football Clinic: You simply have to take a look at the lineup of speakers who will be at the Angelo clinic next week. If you haven't done so yet, now is the time to make plans to attend. 

Football Operations: A couple of new hires and an opening on DFO Scoop today.

Ohio State: President E. Gordon Gee, who in December 2010 said, "What do I know about college football? I look like Orville Redenbacher. I have no business talking about college football," but yet could not stop talking about college football, will retire effective July 1 according to the Columbus Dispatch.

Dallas Cowboys: Jerry Jones announced today that offensive coordinator/offensive line coach Bill Callahan will add play-calling duties this season. 

Indiana State (FCS): Former Southeastern Louisiana head coach Mike Lucas is joining Mike Sanford's staff as defensive line coach. 

Missouri Valley College (NAIA): Missouri Valley is still in search of an defensive grad assistant. The position will include graduate tuition, room and board. No stipend. Experience with HUDL software and strength and conditioning is a plus. Interested applicants should email Defensive Coordinator Monty Roe at roem@moval.edu

Sacred Heart (FCS - CT): Former head football coach Paul Gorham, who has been on medical leave since April of 2012, is no long affiliated with Sacred Heart University according to the Connecticut Post.

Colorado School of Mines (D-II): Sources tell us Houston graduate assistant Matt Nicholson is the new linebackers coach at Colorado School of Mines. 

MacMurray College (D-III - IL): Sources tell us the school has hired Drew Morris as wide receivers coach and William Savor as an offensive assistant. 

Hardin-Simmons (D-III - TX): Hardin-Simmons is looking for a defensive backs coach for a 4-2-5 scheme. The job also comes with strength and conditioning responsibilities. View the posting here. We hear defensive coordinator and past secondary coach Bob Fello is moving to linebackers.

Cal Poly (FCS): Head coach Tim Walsh announced the hiring of Eti Ena as defensive line coach and Jim Craft as wide receivers coach. 

Towson (FCS): The Tigers have formed a 13-member search committee to find a replacement for outgoing athletic director Mike Waddell. The school will also employ a national search firm. Deputy AD for Internal Operations Tricia Brandenburg will serve as the interim AD. Towson hopes to have a full-time AD in place by the beginning of the fall semester.
