Getting fired sucks; but it happens in coaching. This is how you handle it if that time comes.

Manchester (D-III - IN): Manchester University is accepting applications for a 9-month defensive coach. This 9-month position includes an entry level salary paid over 12-months and includes full benefits but NO Housing. Required qualifications are previous college coaching experience and a Bachelor’s degree. Defensive positon will depend on applicants experience and what is the best fit for our program. Monroe College (JC - NY): Monroe College, located in New Rochelle, NY is searching for a linebacker coach. This is a position that will include a stipend and housing on campus. Responsibilities will include recruiting and coaching your own position. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree, collegiate playing experience and or coaching experience. Nebraska: Bo Pelini and Nebraska have reportedly come to a final agreement on the buyout figure, per the Omaha World-Herald. Nebraska will pay Pelini $128,009 a month through February of 2019. Including what Pelini has already been paid by the university, he will make about $6.54 million as part of the buyout. Pelini will make just under $214,000 annually leading the Youngstown State program.

Cal Lutheran (D-III): Cal Lutheran is looking to hire two part-time coaches (tight ends and running backs). These are entry-level, stipend positions (no benefits, no housing, no meal card) for the 2015 season. College of Idaho (NAIA): The College of Idaho is looking to fill a defensive opening on their staff, preferably a candidate with experience in the back 7. This is an entry level position. The position will include a stipend, but no meals or housing. Health insurance may be included. Coaching responsibilities to include, but not limited to, assisting on the defensive side of the ball, your own recruiting area, video editing, practice organization, and other duties as assigned by the head football coach. Experience playing or coaching at the collegiate level is a must. Navarro College (CC - TX): Navarro College is looking to hire a defensive intern for next season. Starting date will be July 2015. Room and board provided, but NO other compensation will be associated with this position. Duties will include coaching a position group, film breakdown of opponents & self scout, equipment duties, recruiting assignment, field maintenance, weight room duties, along with other duties as assigned by the head coach. Defiance College: Per source, defensive line coach / special teams coordinator / recruiting coordinator Danny Cornely has accepted an assistant coaching job at Cardial Newman HS (West Palm Bach, FL). We understand that Cornely will also serve as the head of scouting for NCSA in Florida as well.
