Virginia Tech: Virginia Tech Football is looking for a recruiting graduate assistant that will be highly motivated, great communicator, and at the forefront of new technological skills including such areas as social media, graphic design such as Photoshop while also having a foundation in football. This is primarily a graphics design position (80% of this job will be focused on creation of graphics for the recruiting process). Presentation of previously done football graphics will be part of the hiring process. This person should aspire to be a NFL Scout, NFL front office staff, college Director of High School Relations or a college Director of Player Personnel in their career future. This position will be involved with recruiting visits both unofficial and official, mail correspondence processes, help with creating and maintaining prospect database, prospect academics and creative ideas in terms of all aspects of recruiting process. Will report to Director of Player Personnel. Need to be admitted into Virginia Tech Graduate School on your own merit. Graceland (NAIA - IA): Graceland University is seeking applicants for student-assistant coaching positions. These positions are intended for individuals who are trying to finish up their undergraduate education. Individuals will receive a scholarship package covering a percentage of tuition, room, and board. Previous football coaching or playing experience is a plus but not required. Fordham (FCS - NY): Fordham University is hiring a volunteer Intern for the 2015 season. This position will assist the offensive coaching staff with data input, scouting reports, and practice organization among other duties. Previous experience with Hudl and Microsoft Office is preferred but not required. Applicants should posses a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn. Since this position does not include financial compensation, applicants from the greater New York City area with the ability to commute to campus are ideal. This is an entry level position that has a recent history as serving as a starting point for coaches breaking into the profession. Saint Francis (NAIA - Fort Wayne, IN): The University of Saint Francis football program is looking for a defensive intern for the fall season. Primary duties would include assisting with film/data entry, overseeing scout team, recruiting and weight room duties. This position will be in a volunteer role with the potential of earning a stipend. Position would begin on August 3rd. Albright College (D-III - PA): Albright College is looking for an offensive intern football coach working with tight ends and assisting with the offensive line. As an intern you will coach the TE position, run your own meetings and drills and work closely with the OL coach for group run-blocking work and work closely with the head coach for group pass work. Recruit your own geographic area, manage offensive video and computer work and perform other duties as assigned by the head coach. Compensation includes a $3,500 stipend spread over a 10 month contract. Free year-round off-campus housing shared with two other football interns, free utilities, free on-campus meal plan. This is a two-year developmental internship program designed for young coaches who have a strong desire to pursue collegiate coaching as a permanent career. Priority will be given to individuals who have successful experience playing and / or coaching the OL/TE position. Robert Morris (NAIA - Chicago, IL): Robert Morris University is accepting applications for either an offensive skill position, kicker / punter or football operations Graduate Assistant. Prior coaching or playing experience for the position applied is required. A bachelor’s degree, 2.8 undergraduate GPA (or a 500 GMAT score), and admission to the Robert Morris Graduate School of Management is required. A 50% tuition waiver along with a $5,000 stipend will be provided. This position will remain open until filled.
