New Mexico: Multiple sources close to the situation tell us negotiations have broken down between Glen Mason and athletic director Paul Krebs. We hear his on campus interview could not have gone better; but the two sides could not make it work. 

Arizona: The New York Times is reporting that Urban Meyer met with Arizona athletic director Greg Byrne last week to discuss the opening; but that Urban ultimately said no.

Florida Tech (DII): Florida Tech is looking for a Offensive Graduate Assistant responsible for assisting the Head Coach in all phases of the football program. Coaching duties include assisting with practices, games, recruiting, equipment, video and all aspects of the program. Qualifications include acceptance into graduate school. Yearly benefits include tuition waiver and $10,000 stipend. Candidate review begins immediately and continues until filled. Expected start date in January, 2012. New Mexico: Sources tell us that Glen Mason is the new leader in the clubhouse after a great interview. We hear this could be announced this week. 

Eastern New Mexico (D-II Lone Star Conf.): We hear head coach Mark Ribaudo will not return. Ribaudo had been on staff at ENMU since 1997 and head coach since 2005. 

Western Carolina: We have been told that the University plans to hire a new athletic director and then allow that person to select the new head coach. 

Faulkner: We hear that athletic director Brent Barker will become the new head football coach at Faulkner.
