Texas A&M: Texas A&M President Bowen Loftin expressed his support for Mike Sherman today, "As far as I'm concerned, yes [Sherman will return]. We don't want to make any hasty moves, and we look forward to him being our football coach in the future."
Maryville College (DIII - TN): We hear that Tony Ierulli has been relieved of the head coaching duties.
Tulane: There is mutual interest between Tulane and Todd Monken. Tonight Mike Gundy acknowledged that Tulane sought his permission recently to speak with Monken about their opening. This would be a hire the local fan base would rally around. As we wrote a few weeks back, it seems like the most coveted job available this off-season might just turn out to be offensive coordiator at Oklahoma State.
University of South Dakota (FCS): Head coach Ed Meierkort's contract will not be renewed. South Dakota will compete in the Missouri Valley Conference of the FCS next season.
Earlham College (DIII - IN): Gerry Keesling has resigned as head coach.
Akron: Sources close to the program tell us head coach Rob Ianello will be released from his contract following their final game on Friday.
Miami: Reporter to Al Golden minutes ago: "Coach, will you absolutely be the coach at Miami in 2012?" Golden: "I believe I'm going to be the coach at Miami in 2012, that's correct."
Arizona: We are told Rich Rod will receive $1.45 million in year 1, $1.5 million in year 2, $1.6 in year 3, $1.7 in year 4 and $1.8 in year 5 of his agreement. Additional details.
Richmond: The level of interest that we are hearing in the Richmond job is off the charts. Look for the Spiders to wind up with an excellent hire.
Texas Southern (FCS): Texas Southern has announced that they have opened a national search for their next head football coach. Interim head coach Kevin Ramsey, who went 4-7 this season, will be a candidate. The search committee hopes to name the new head coach within a month. Texas Southern is located near downtown Houston and competes in the Southwestern Athletic Conference.
Robert Morris (NAIA - IL): Robert Morris University (Chicago) is accepting applications for multiple offensive, defensive, and kicker / punter Graduate Assistant positions. Experience playing or coaching the position applied for is required. A bachelor’s degree, 2.8 undergrad GPA or at least a 500 GMAT score, and admission to the Robert Morris Graduate School of Management is also required. These positions will remain open until filled. Central Florida: Yesterday, the President of the University came out and addressed the rumors at Central Florida. Regarding head coach George O'Leary's status for next season, the President said, "we're not going to make a change." O'Leary has four years (and $4 million) remaining on his contract. The President added, "We don't have an athletic director right now so even if I were inclined to make a change, which I'm not, I don't see that happening under these circumstances."

Western Illinois (FCS): We hear that defensive coordinator Tom Casey, defensive line coach Steve McKane, and offensive line coach Josh McCall are no longer with the program.

Tiffin University (DII - OH): Tiffin University, an NCAA Division II GLIAC member, is seeking applicants for the Defensive Coordinator position. The position is a full-time position with benefits and only football-related responsibilities. Applicants for this position should possess a bachelor’s degree and coordinator experience at the intercollegiate level.
