Montreal Alouettes (CFL): Former Winnipeg Blue Bombers head coach Paul LaPolice has been contacted about Montreal's vacant offensive coordinator position according to the Montreal Gazette.

Saint Francis (NAIA - IN) - Head coach Kevin Donley has received a contract extension through 2018. The founder of the program, Donley is 158-36 in 16 years with the program. 

Lindenwood (D-II - MO) - Lindenwood is accepting applications for a full time 12-month Offensive Line Coach, possible Run Game Coordinator. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s preferred, working knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations, and experience as a successful Offensive Line Coach. Please send a letter of application, a resume, and at least three personal references to Head Coach The position will begin immediately. Compensation will be competitive and relative to experience.

Coffeyville Community College (KS): Coffeyville has an open position helping work with the offensive line. We are looking for someone with playing and/or coaching experience at the college level and experience with the HUDL software. The candidate will also be a Resident Assistant in the dorms and will be paid a stipend, receive medical insurance, housing and a meal plan in the school cafeteria as well. UConn: Desmond Conner who covers UConn for the Hartford Courant reports today that he doesn't expect the search to be settled before December 7th. His take (plus our inserts) on a number of potential candidates. 

Florida Atlantic: Athletics director Pat Chun stated today that he'd like to have a head coach in place by the second week of December, and that interim head coach Brian Wright is a candidate for the job. Also, Carl Pelini has officially been terminated for failure to report illegal conduct of a staff member. 

Mississippi Valley State: Dianthia Ford-Kee has been named athletic director. Ford-Kee spent the past five years as the athletic director at Lincoln University of Pennsylvania.

Southeast Missouri (FCS): Sources tell us head coach Tony Samuel will not return. Samuel spent eight years with the program and finished this past season 3-9. Update> The university has now announced this. 

Minnesota-Crookston (D-II): The University has now posted the head coaching job. Back in mid-July head coach Paul Miller took a leave of absence for health reasons and defensive coordinator Mike Fritze was elevated to interim head coach for the season.

St. Thomas (D-III - MN): We hear that they will have an offensive coordinator position available soon. This is a new position on staff. 

West Georgia (D-II): University of West Georgia is seeking to fill two open dates, 9/20/14 and 9/19/15. Looking for a division II opponent who can play at West Georgia in 2014 & at the opponent in 2015. Please contact athletic director Daryl Dickey at or 678.839.6534

Montana Tech (NAIA): Sources tell us the offensive coordinator job at Montana Tech is open.

Stephen F. Austin (FCS - TX): Just closing the loop because we've seen some confusion out there, Coach Harper was officially let go as we reported. In making the announcement, Robert Hill, the athletic director, noted that they will "begin a national search" immediately. 

Weber State (FCS - UT): Sources tell us head coach Jody Sears will not return. Sears led Weber State to a 4-19 record in two seasons after his promotion from defensive coordinator to head coach following John L. Smith's departure to Arkansas in April 2012. 

Eastern Michigan: There was a brief media buzz yesterday surrounding the fact that Jerry Glanville had applied for the Eastern Michigan job. We reached out to a few folks for an update and a few names we hear that administration has liked thus far include Toledo quarterbacks coach Scott "Izzy" Isphording, Colorado Pueblo head coach John Wristen and Buffalo Bills running backs coach Tyrone Wheatley among others. As of yesterday, it wasn't clear to the sources that we spoke with who if anyone is the lead candidate; but we'll keep you posted.
