Clemson: We hear that Clemson is working to structure a new agreement to lock offensive coordinator Chad Morris in place for years (or at least make the buyout far more painful).

South Dakota School of Mines (NAIA): Head coach Mike Kratzer has decided to retire following this season. The school will be transitioning to a NCAA DII program over the next 4 years.

Eastern Illinois: Last year, longtime Eastern Illinois (FCS) head coach Bob Spoo announced that this season would be his last. The university has informed us that they are now seeking applicants. Minnesota: Jerry Kill and the university have signed his agreement (had been working under a memo agreement since December). Agreement runs through February 2018

Presbyterian College (SC): Defensive coordinator Tom Evangelista is no longer with the program. The defensive staff will assume his duties until a replacement is hired after the season.

Southwest Minnesota State:Southwest Minnesota State University is looking for a football Graduate Assistant (Defensive Line). Responsibilities include assisting Head Coach in all phases of the football program. Coaching duties include assisting with practices, games, recruiting, camps, equipment, video and all aspects of the program. Qualifications include acceptance into graduate school (3.0 minimum GPA), enrolling in a minimum of six credits per semester, and candidate must meet the MnSCU vehicle driving qualifications. The stipend is $8,000 plus tuition waiver. Candidate review begins immediately and continues until filled. Expected start date in January, 2012.
