Earlham College (D-III - IN): We learned tonight that Marian University (NAIA - IN) defensive backs coach Neil Kazmierczak has accepted the head coaching position at Earlham. 

Arkansas: Athletic director Jeff Long spoke at length tonight. Petrino was fired for cause. He has asked Taver Johnson to remain interim head coach through the conclusion of spring football. He further stated that he will immediately begin his search for the next head coach. 

Arkansas: Joe Schad is reporting that Bobby Petrino is being let go. Arkansas has called a 7:15pm cst press conference tonight to discuss. 

South Alabama: Multiple sources telling us that South Alabama defensive tackles coach Kurt Crain has died. Condolences to and prayers for his family and friends. South Alabama has now confirmed. 

Orlando Predators (Arena): Sources tell us Ben Bennett will take over as offensive coordinator for the Predators. 

Alfred (D-III - NY): Alfred University has announced the hiring of University of Buffalo senior associate athletic director Paul Vecchio as their new director of athletics. 

Indiana: We have learned that Adrian College (D-III - MI) strength and conditioning coach / defensive line coach Bryant Haines will be joining the staff at Indiana.

Edinboro (D-II - PA): Bryan Volk has been named offensive coordinator. Volk spent the past six seasons as an assistant at Fordham coaching the quarterbacks, and added the title of offensive coordinator the past three seasons.

Iowa State: Defensive tackles coach Shane Burnham has added the title of special teams coordinator. 

Morehead State (FCS): Matt McCutchan has been hired as offensive line coach. McCutchan served in the same capacity at Lincoln University (MO) last season. 

Texas College (NAIA): Texas College is seeking to fill two home games for 2012 season. The dates are August 25 and October 27. Contact head coach George Cumby at 903-330-2489 or via email at gcumby@texascollege.edu. We need to fill these dates as soon as possible.

New Orleans Saints: Mort and the boys are all reporting this morning that Tuna will not wind up coaching the Saints this season. Most this morning are speculating that the Saints will stay in house with their interim coaching decision. We'll keep you posted.

Georgia Military College: GMC is now seeking applicants for a Defensive restricted earnings position. Details include a salary, housing, and recruiting area. Coaches who have had experience coaching in the Secondary or Linebackers are encouraged to apply. Army (Sprint): Army is no longer accepting applications for the offensive line position.

Memphis: Sources tell us that Tulsa head strength coach Rohrk Cutchlow has accepted the same position with Memphis.
