Happy Valentines Day to all of the wives and future wives out there!

Tampa Bay: Sources tell us that Greg Schiano offered the defensive coordinator job to Dolphins special teams coordinator Darren Rizzi (former Rutgers assistant under Schiano) but the Dolphins wouldn't let Rizzi out of his agreement. Further, we hear Schiano is now speaking with Ohio State assistant Bill Sheridan who just recently accepted a position on Urban's staff after coaching the linebackers for the Dolphins for the last two seasons. 

Seattle Seahawks: The Seahawks have made a couple of moves. Keith Carter (offensive quality control) joins as we told you on Sunday from the University of San Diego, Marquand Manuel (assistant special teams) comes from the University of Florida where he served as an intern, John Glenn (coaching assistant - special teams) joins from the University of Washington where he was a quality control and Kenechi Udeze (coaching intern) joins from Washington as well where he was an assistant strength coach. Additionally, Rocky Seto is moving from assistant defensive backs to defensive passing game coordinator. 

Ole Miss: Hugh Freeze announced the hiring of two more from his staff at Arkansas State earlier this afternoon. Corey Batoon will serve as assistant athletic director for player development and Tyler Siskey will serve as coordinator of recruiting development. 

Boston College: Sources tell us Cory Martin will join the staff, likely in a quality control position. Martin was an intern at New Mexico State. 

Gardner Webb: We hear former Ole Miss grad assistant Alan Hensell has accepted a position on the staff at Gardner Webb. 

App State: Sources tell us Gardner Webb running backs coach Chris Foster will be named running backs coach at App State. 

Houston Texans: Offensive assistants Mark Lubick and Jim Ryan have both been promoted. Lubick will now serve as assistant receivers coach while Ryan will be assistant offensive line. We also hear assistant defensive backs coach Perry Carter has signed a new agreement with the team as well. 

Chattanooga: We hear that Georgia offensive grad assistant Thomas Brown has been hired as running backs coach. 

Houston Texans: We hear the Texans have hired former Colorado State assistant Dan Hammerschmidt as offensive assistant. 

Indianapolis Colts: The Colts have announced their staff. Most interesting part is that former offensive coordinator Clyde Christensen has been retained as quarterbacks coach. Southwestern University: As we told you a week ago, Hanover head coach Joe Austin has now officially been named head coach at Southwestern. 

Mount Ida (D-III - MA): We hear Bridegwater State (D-III - MA) assistant Neil Hitchen will be named offensive coordinator at Mount Ida. 

North Texas: Sources telling us today that Montana State defensive backs / recruiting coordinator Noah Joseph has accepted a position on the North Texas staff. 

Stillman College: We hear LSU strength staff intern and former player Steve Mares has been hired as quarterbacks coach at Stillman. 

Stephen F. Austin: Sources tell us that former Kansas defensive grad assistant Kevin Carberry has accepted the defensive ends job at Stephen F. Austin. 

Florida: We hear Texas Tech defensive grad assistant Will Harriger is joining Will Muschamp's staff at Florida. Will update regarding what capacity. Harriger has previously worked with Muschamp at both Auburn and Texas.

Rhodes College: We hear that Wabash College receivers coach Ryan Larsen has accepted the receivers / passing game coordinator role at Rhodes. 

Kansas City Chiefs: Romeo Crennel has announced his staff and there are two new names we haven't already told you about, Jim Bob Cooter has been hired as offensive quality control and Derius Swinton has joined as special teams quality control. Penn State: PSU released Bill O'Brien's five year agreement today. As we told you when he signed the deal, his total first year compensation is $950,000 from the University, $1 million from TV and radio endorsements and $350,000 from Nike. Thus total first year compensation is $2.3 million. Incentives could add another $200,000 per year and he receives a 5% bump each year in his salary. 

Oregon State: As we told you early last week, Mike Riley has now officially named former Colts assistant Rod Perry defensive backs coach. 

North Park University (D-III - IL): North Park, a Christian, liberal arts college, located on Chicago's north side, participating in D3 and The College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced football coach to fill a full time offensive staff position. The qualified candidate must have previous college coaching and successful recruiting experience. Candidates with in-depth knowledge and experience in coaching flex-bone, triple option offense will be given priority consideration. The ability to articulate and support the Christian mission and values of North Park University is very important. Other duties within the program will be assigned by the head football coach and director of athletics. This is a full time (12 month) position with salary commensurate with years of experience and full benefits. Virginia: Mike London has announced that corners coach Chip West has added the title of assistant recruiting coordinator. 

St. Louis Rams: Falcons' director of player personnel Les Snead has now officially been named GM of the Rams. The Rams have also hired former Titans defensive coordinator Chuck Cecil as defensive backs coach. 

Western Illinois: We have learned that Miami (OH) offensive grad assistant Jared Elliott has been hired to coach the quarterbacks at Western Illinois.

Southeastern Oklahoma (D-II): With defensive coordinator / defensive line Jeff Fitzgerald leaving to become head coach at Alexandria High School in Louisiana, Southeastern Oklahoma is now looking for a defensive line / defensive coordinator / strength coach. Chattanooga: Chattanooga announced last night that they have hired Alex Atkins as offensive line coach. Atkins was coaching the offensive line / tight ends at Itawamba Community College. 

West Virginia: Sources tell us that Stephen F. Austin defensive line coach Erik Slaughter will join the West Virginia staff. Sources we have spoken with like the fit with the West Virginia staff. 

Emporia State: We hear head coach Garin Higgins is interested in former Nebraska Omaha defensive coordinator Brad McCaslin for his open defensive coordinator role. 

Richmond: We hear grad assistant Jerry Taylor will remain at Richmond despite interest from other programs.

Louisiana College: ULL defensive grad assistant Brian Wallace has been named co-defensive coordinator / inside linebackers / recruiting coordinator at Louisiana College. 

Lamar University: Sources tell us former Baylor defensive coordinator Bill Bradley interviewed yesterday for the open defensive coordinator job at Lamar. Further, we have learned that former SMU assistant Dennis McKnight has been hired as offensive line coach at Lamar. 

Northwestern State (FCS - LA): Matthew Powledge has been named running backs while current running backs coach Jacob Simon has moved to receivers. Powledge was an assistant at Southeastern Louisiana the past two seasons.
