Central Michigan: Our sources tell us that Illinois State wide receivers coach Taylor Stubblefield has accepted the wide receivers job at Central Michigan.

USC: We have learned that Shawn Howe has accepted the defensive quality control job at USC. Howe recently left Tennessee to join the Sacramento State staff as defensive line coach. Now, he has joined the USC staff.

Pittsburgh Steelers: Defensive coordinator Dick Lebeau will sign a 1-year deal to remain as the defensive coordinator.

NC State: As we mentioned yesterday, tight ends coach Jim Bridge and offensive line coach Don Horton have flipped positions. Bridge will now coach the offensive line. Horton will coach the tight ends.

Oklahoma State: We hear Washburn defensive grad assistant Scott Aligo accepted the defensive quality control position at Oklahoma State.

New Hampshire: Our sources tell us defensive line coach Jake Zweig has left the staff.

Louisville: Our sources tell us that head coach Charlie Strong has interviewed Nebraska offensive coordinator / quarterbacks coach Shawn Watson for the quarterbacks job.

Akron: We hear head coach Rob Ianello has hired former Minnesota defensive coordinator Kevin Cosgrove as defensive coordinator.

Grad Assistant Flip Chart: We have updated the flip chart on the homepage.

Cal: We have learned that Menlo College wide receivers coach Scott Ohara has accepted the special teams quality control job at Cal.

Tennessee Titans: The Titans have hired Hartford Colonials (UFL) head coach Chris Palmer as offensive coordinator.

UCLA: Omaha Nighthawks assistant Joe Tresey has accepted the defensive coordinator job at UCLA. Tresey previously served as the defensive coordinator at Cincinnati and South Florida.

Oregon State: Our sources tell us that Sacramento Mountain Lions wide receivers coach Charlie Collins is the leading candidate to fill the open position on Mike Riley's staff at Oregon State. We are told that Riley is considering shifting a couple of coaches to bring in Collins as the wide receivers coach. An open position came available when Oregon State running backs coach Reggie Davis left to join the 49ers organization.

Harvard: University of Maine defensive line coach / recruiting coordinator Dwayne Wilmot accepted the defensive line job at Harvard.

Maryland: We hear Randy Shannon will not be the Maryland defensive coordinator. Our sources tell us that Randy Edsall has already talked with UMASS defensive coordinator Keith Dunzinski.

Valpo: Former Concord University (WV) defensive coordinator / defensive backs coach Chris Bowers accepted the special teams coordinator / defensive backs job. Robert Lee has shifted from special teams coordinator to defensive coordinator / defensive line coach.

Kansas City Chiefs: Former Baltimore Ravens quarterbacks coach Jim Zorn has accepted the quarterbacks job with the Cheifs.

Southwest Baptist University: NCAA Division II located in Bolivar, MO is accepting applications for a defensive graduate assistant position, preferably coaching defensive backs or defensive line. The position pays a stipend of $5,000 and tuition. Duties include coaching a position, instructing position meetings and recruiting your own territory, and any other duties assigned by the head coach. South Carolina: With the special teams coordinator position open at South Carolina, it will be interesting to see if Spurrier talks with University of Houston special teams coordinator / inside receivers coach Tony Levine, UCF special teams coordinator / tight ends coach Tim Salem, or Joe Pannuzio. Pannuzio served as the special teams coordinator / tight ends coach at Miami (FL) the last few years, but recently accepted the director of football operations position at Alabama. Levine served as the assistant special teams coach with the Carolina Panthers before joining Kevin Sumlin's staff at Houston.

Arkansas State: We hear USC defensive quality control Chris Kiffin has accepted the defensive line job at Arkansas State.

Oklahoma State: All three coordinators will earn a $400,000 salary. Offensive coordinator / quarterbacks coach Todd Monken, defensive coordinator / defensive line coach Bill Young, and special teams coordinator / safeties / assistant head coach Joe DeForest will each earn $400,000 annually. Mike Gundy will earn $2.1 million this year, up from $1.925 million.

Minnesota State - Moorhead: Valley City State offensive coordinator Rob Hunt accepted the offensive coordinator position at Minnesota State - Moorhead.

Jacksonville Sharks (AFL): Our sources tell us that former Tiffin University offensive line / running backs / run game coordinator Brian Ferguson has accepted a position with the Jacksonville Sharks.
