Utah State: Mike Sanford has been hired to coach the running backs / tight ends. 

Portland State: Sources tell us linebackers coach Ahmed Zarrugh is leaving for a job in the business world. We hear the job is open. 

College of Wooster: Offensive coordinator / offensive line coach Kyle Rooker will now serve as defensive coordinator. Zach Dennis has been promoted to receivers coach and Dustin Hass has been hired to coach the defensive backs. Hass was the defensive grad assistant at Indiana under Bill Lynch. 

Northern Arizona University (FCS): NAU, a Big Sky Conference school located in Flagstaff, AZ, is currently accepting applicants for a wide receivers coaching position. Playing and/or coaching experience at the Division 1 level is required. All interested applicants must apply through the NAU Human Resources website at in order to be considered. Tampa Bay: We have learned that the Bucs have hired Princeton's running backs coach Andy Aurich. He will likely serve as offensive quality control depending on the final hire for the Bucs. 

Lakeland College (D-III - WI): Lakeland is seeking applicants for offensive line coach. Must have played or coach offensive line and have Track experience as candidate will coach Track team as well. Bachelor's required, master's preferred. Follow this link to apply

Lafayette: We hear that Ryan Hess (Ops) has been promoted to a full-time assistant and the operations job will be filled by Evan Nardone from LaGrange. There are no open positions at Lafayette following these moves. 

Sul Ross State University (D-III - TX): Sul Ross State, a member of the Division III American Southwest Conference is looking to fill 2 GA positions one on offense (OL) and one on defense (DB). Bachelors degree required with football playing and/or coaching experience, strong professional/interpersonal communication skills and organizational efficiency, outstanding character and leadership qualities a must. The successful applicants should also possess strong computer skills and some experience with DSV/HUDL digital editing system is a plus. Follow all rules and guidelines set forth by the NCAA Division III, and Sul Ross State University. Duties include coaching your own position and; plan, organize, and instruct positional meetings and drills; contribute to game plan; recruit your own territory and attract top quality student-athletes to attend Sul Ross State University. Administrative duties include: game week organizational tasks, film breakdown, opponent scouting, self-scouting, tendency reports, video cut-ups, scouting reports, assist S&C coach with weight room, oversee and counsel players on academic and social issues, and any other duties as assigned by the Head Football Coach. Compensation includes a stipend of $7500 with some free meals. No housing or health benefits are included with this position. Northern Arizona: We hear that Northern Arizona has an offensive position available, possibly with the coordinator title. 

Misericordia (D-III - PA): Misericordia has two grad assistant positions available. The primary responsibility will be to assist the head coach in all facets of the program, including the recruitment of quality student-athletes, organization and planning of practices, game preparation, strength and fitness development, administrative duties, scouting, and monitoring of student-athlete academic progress. A bachelor's degree is required. Previous participation and/or coaching experience are preferred. Elon: As we told you back on the 20th, Slippery Rock linebackers coach Freddie Aughtry-Lindsay has now officially been named linebackers coach at Elon.

Tulsa: Bill Blankenship has hired Darnell Walker Sr. to coach the corners at Tulsa. Walker was coaching the defensive backs at Southwest Baptist. 

Indiana: We hear Kevin Wilson will promote offensive quality control Carter Whitson to offensive grad assistant. 

Kenyon College: We have learned that Kenyon has their two new coordinators on staff now. Chad Walker, previously linebackers coach at Lafayette, takes over as offensive coordinator while Greg Jones, corners coach at Rhode Island, is the new defensive coordinator. 

Bethel (KS): We have learned that Wofford strength & conditioning staffer Tyler Lampert has accepted the linebackers job at Bethel. 

St. Francis (PA): We hear Mercyhurst offensive coordinator Eric Long has accepted the same position at St. Francis. 

Arizona State: We hear Travis Dixon has been hired as defensive for a grad assistant position at Arizona State. Dixon, a former cornerback at UNLV, was coaching the defensive backs at Hamilton High School last season. 

Anna Maria College: We hear there are no available positions at Anna Maria at this time. 

Rhode Island: Head coach Joe Trainer announced a number of moves yesterday...Defensive line coach Brian Vaganek has been promoted to defensive coordinator / defensive line. Quarterbacks coach Liam Coen has added the title of passing game coordinator. Assistant offensive line coach Doug Borsari will now serve as director of football operations. Ryan Mattison, defensive backs coach at Bowdoin, has been hired to coach the DBs. Matt Sutjak, defensive backs coach at Lycoming, will serve as assistant offensive line coach and Matt Urban has been hired to serve as assistant defensive backs / corners. 

Indianapolis Colts: Former Rhode Island director of football operations Dan Silva has joined the Colts organization in the scouting department.
