Diane Andrews, wife of former Florida State defensive coordinator Mickey Andrews, has passed away after a battle with cancer. Please keep Coach Andrews and his family in your prayers.

California University (D-II - PA): Associate head coach for offense Mike Kellar has been promoted to head coach.

Merrimack (D-II - MA): Athletic director Glenn Hofmann has been placed on paid leave. Hoffman has served as the athletic director at Merrimack since February of 2009. 

Lousiana-Monroe: Former Texas A&M Commerce and Millsaps College receivers coach Mario Price has accepted an offensive graduate assistant position.

Dickinson College (D-III - PA): Salisbury State (D-III - MD) assistant coach Jonathan Bannister has accepted the offensive intern position at Dickinson. Bannister will work with the offensive line.

Rochester Community and Technical College (JUCO - MN): Northland Community and Technical College offensive coordinator Stan Bedwell has accepted the offensive coordinator position at Rochester CTC. 

Northland Community and Technical College (JUCO - MN): We hear Badger / Greenbush-Middle River HS (MN) defensive coordinator Kent Janicke has accepted the defensive coordinator job and Sacred Heart HS (MN) defensive coordinator Temell Parks accepted the special teams coordinator position.

Mercer (FCS): Head coach Bobby Lamb has rounded out his coaching staff. Mike Kolakowski will serve as the assistant head coach / defensive coordinator / outside linebackers coach, Casey Vogt will have the offensive line and serve as the offensive coordinator, Mitch Doolittle will coach the secondary and Carter Barfield will serve as an offensive assistant, with a specific role to be defined later. Kolakowski has a wealth of D-I experience and previously served as the defensive coordinator down at Ave Maria (NAIA - FL), Vogt was the offensive line coach / recruiting coordinator at Colgate in 2011, Doolittle spent last season as the linebackers coach at Savannah State, and Barfield has spent the past two seasons as a graduate assistant at Kentucky.

Drake (FCS): Head coach Chris Creighton has annouced the hiring of former Arena league coach and player Kahlil Carter to coach the corners.

Waynesburg (D-III - PA): We hear that Duquesne University (FCS) running backs coach / run game coordinator Matt Stansfield has accepted the offensive line / offensive coordinator job at Waynesburg.

University of Puget Sound (WA): Thomas Ford, Southeastern Oklahoma State receivers coach / recruiting coordinator, has accepted the special teams coordinator / defensive backs job at Puget Sound. We have been advised that Southeastern Oklahoma already has their candidates in mind to fill the position and is not taking resumes at this time.

Tuskegee University (AL): Former Langston University (NAIA - OK) athletic director Patric Simon is the new AD at Tuskegee.

Muhlenberg (D-III - PA): Muhlenberg College has an outside linebacker intern coaching position available. stipend $5000 plus, room and board. If interested email Mike.donnelly@gw.muhlenberg.edu.

Arizona Western (JUCO): Located in Yuma, Arizona, Arizona Western is searching for a defensive line coach. This is a part-time position with a stipend of $6,800 plus housing. Responsibilities will include recruiting and coaching your own position. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree, collegiate playing experience and or coaching experience, excellent communication and leadership skills. North Dakota State College of Science (JUCO): North Dakota State College of Science (NJCAA) is seeking applicants for multiple positions including offensive line (10 months - $8,000 stipend), linebackers (9 months - $5,000 stipend) and running backs coach (9 months - $5,000 stipend). These are all non-benefited positions and include the stipend, meal plan, and a shared apartment with other assistant coaches. This position will assist the head coach in all aspects of the program and includes coaching a position and recruitment and retention of student-athletes. The candidate will also be proficient with opponent scouting, and video breakdown (HUDL), practice preparation, game preparation, and assist in all aspects of developing and advancing a competitive football program. This candidate will also have additional duties within the facility. There may be other opportunities on campus to earn additional income. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree required. (Master’s required for any teaching opportunities.) Previous coaching or playing experience at the position being applied for, Computer skills include knowledge of Excel, Word, Power Point, and Internet scouting and recruiting. Penn State: We hear Bill Kavanaugh will be named director of player personnel. Kavanaugh had served in various roles under Joe Paterno including coaching the receivers, serving as the recruiting coordinator, and had originally started off as a grad assistant working with the running backs back in 2008.

Emporia State (D-II - KS): Emporia State University is seeking a Graduate Assistant to coach the secondary. We are looking for someone who has a minimum of 1-2 years of coaching experience and or playing experience. It is a 10 month position that pays $7,000 with tuition waiver. No housing or meals included. Responsibilities include: Coaching the secondary, film breakdown (Hudl), assisting with recruiting and recruiting events, and possibly teaching in the ESU PE department. Bowdoin University (D-III - ME): Bowdoin College (Brunswick, ME) is accepting applications for the full time position of Assistant Football Coach and Instructor of Physical Education within its Athletics Department. The successful candidate should possess the technical knowledge to coach multiple positions on either offense or defense. Experience recruiting student athletes to highly selective liberal arts colleges is preferred. The successful candidate may also perform administrative duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics. Brown University: We hear Rhode Island quarterbacks coach / passing game coordinator Liam Coen has resigned his post to return to Brown and coach the quarterbacks. Coen previously coached the quarterbacks at Brown during the 2010 season.

Webber International (NAIA - FL): We are in search for a Defensive Line coach for the 2012 season. This position pays $17,000 plus benefits. You will be responsible for helping in day to day football operations, game planning, handling a recruiting area, and any other necessary tasks. Experience in a 3 man front scheme is preferred.
