Illinois: Sources tell us Western Michigan director of football operations Tim Knox will soon join the staff at Illinois in the same capacity. 

Anna Maria College: Vin Sinagra has been named interim head coach. 

Florida Tech: We hear Central Oklahoma grad assistant Austin Silvoy is joining the staff at Florida Tech as a grad assistant / receivers coach. 

Massachusetts Institute of Technology (D-III - MA): MIT, a nationally recognized university in Cambridge, MA, invites applicants for a part-time assistant position. Duties include, but are not limited to, coaching an offensive position, assisting with practice and game planning, film breakdown, leading position meetings, recruiting and any other duties assigned by the head coach. Previous coaching and/or playing experience required. Compensation for the position will be a stipend of about $3,000 for the season. This is a part-time position with NO meals or housing included, so Boston area applicants are preferred. LaGrange College (D-III - GA): LaGrange has hired Terry Ursin Jr. (Holmes Community College) as Defensive Coordinator and Varsity Strength Coach. Special Teams and Recruiting Coordinator Marcus Blandingburg has added the title of Assistant Head Coach.

University of the Incarnate Word (D-II - TX): UIW is accepting applications for a graduate assistant position. The qualified candidate will assist with all coaching and evaluation within the assigned position group, and be responsible for all film breakdown, editing, opponent exchanges, and related activities. Additional recruiting duties will be assigned as well. The position will pay $5400.00 along with a minimum of 12 hours in tuition waivers for each year. The dates of employment will run from August 1st to April 30th. A bachelor’s degree is required and the applicants should have football coaching/playing experience. Applicants should also possess strong computer skills and have some experience with digital editing systems, preferably Hudl. Methodist University (D-III - NC): Methodist University, competing in the USA-South Athletic Conference, is seeking 2 Intern Assistant Football Coaches (1 Offense, 1 Defense). Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree required. Appointment is July 23, 2012 to December 31, 2012. Compensation includes a stipend, housing and meals. Responsibilities include but are not limited to assist in coaching a position, recruiting, academic monitoring and support, video, scouting, equipment control, serve as a liaison for Academic and Student Success initiatives of the University and assisting the Head Coach in all phases of the program.
